Roy Sanam Eliminated in 25th Place ($4,629)

Level 23 : 20,000/40,000, 0 ante
Roy Sanam
Roy Sanam

At the same time as David Gee's elimination, Roy Sanam was all in on the other table.

According to his former tablemates, Sanam flopped a set of deuces on the {5-}{3-}{2-} and was up against the aces of Ben Ross and the sixes of Steven Wolansky. The turn came a {4-}, giving both Ross and Wolansky a straight, and Sanam failed to pair up on the river to make a full house.

Wolansky won the pot with his six-high straight and Sanam was knocked out in 25th place.

David Gee Eliminated in 26th Place ($4,629)

David Gee
David Gee

Lee Markholt raised pre-flop before Mike Picardi re-raised on the button. In the big blind, David Gee moved all in and both players called.

The flop came {3-Spades}{a-Spades}{9-Diamonds} and Markholt checked. Picardi bet and Markholt raised enough to put him all in. Picardi called.

David Gee: {5-Hearts}{4-Hearts}
Mike Picardi: {a-Diamonds}{q-Spades}
Lee Markholt: {9-Spades}{8-Hearts}

Picardi was ahead with his pair of aces against Markholt's nines and Gee's straight draw. The {3-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} turn and river gave Picardi the double up through Markholt and the bust out of Gee in 26th place.

Dennis Kim

David Gee raised under the gun and Lee Markholt three-bet in the cutoff. Dennis Kim put in the fourth bet before Gee called and Markholt capped it with a five-bet. Kim called off 5,000 short and Gee called.

The dealer fanned a flop of {k-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} and Gee check-called a bet.

The {6-Diamonds} hit the turn and Gee check-called another bet from Markholt.

The {4-Hearts} landed on the river completing the board and Gee checked to Markholt who fired another bet. Gee paused for a moment before sigh-folding.

Markholt tabled {a-Spades}{k-Spades} for top pair on the flop while Dennis Kim showed {10-Diamonds}{10-Spades}. Gee quickly reached into the muck and tabled that he had {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs} as well. Kim was eliminated in 27th place for $3,931.

Tobin Leaves Campbell on Life Support, Lipner Takes the Rest

Level 22 : 15,000/30,000, 0 ante
Robert Campbell
Robert Campbell

On the first hand back from dinner break, Robert Campbell raised from early position and Dave Tobin, in middle position, called.

Campbell bet on the {9-Spades}{3-Clubs}{8-Spades} flop and Tobin called to the {4-Hearts} turn. Tobin called another bet, then both players checked the {2-Clubs} river.

"I missed everything," Tobin said, showing {a-Spades}{10-Spades}, but he was still ahead of the {q-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} of Campbell.

Left with just 40,000, Campbell moved all in the next hand and was called by Michael Lipner.

Robert Campbell: {a-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}
Michael Lipner: {a-Clubs}{j-Spades}

Campbell got some newfound hope when the window card came the {8-Spades}, but it was followed by the {j-Hearts}{q-Spades} to give Lipner a pair of jacks. The board ran out {k-Spades}{a-Spades} and Lipner won the pot to eliminate Campbell.

Zinno Heats Up

Level 21 : 12,000/24,000, 0 ante
Anthony Zinno
Anthony Zinno

After three bets before the flop Robert Linchesky and Anthony Zinno were heads-up.

The flop read {j-Spades}{6-Spades}{3-Hearts} and Linchesky put out a bet. Zinno crossed the line with his entire stack of 35,000 but the raise was only to 24,000. After a few moments, Linchesky announced a raise and Zinno quickly called off his remaining stack.

Anthony Zinno: {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs}
Robert Linchesky: {7-Diamonds}{7-Spades}

Zinno was looking to catch one of his overcards and he managed to do that as the dealer turned over the {8-Spades} turn and {k-Hearts} river.

The following hand, Zinno jumped right back into the action raising from middle position and was called by Linchesky on the button, Yuegi Zhu in the small blind and Pedro Rios in the big blind.

The dealer fanned a flop of {k-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} and it seemed nobody was too interested and the action checked through to the {j-Diamonds} on the turn. Zhu led out with a bet and Rios called before Zinno put in a raise. Linchesky quickly folded, followed by Zhu and Rios, bringing Zinno's stack back to life in back-to-back pots.

McKeehen Goes Runner-Runner to Fill Up

Level 21 : 12,000/24,000, 0 ante
Joe Mckeehen
Joe Mckeehen

Joe McKeehen raised from the cutoff before Ben Ross re-raised on the button. Russell Watson called in the big blind, as did McKeehen as they went three-way to a {3-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} flop.

Action checked to Ross who continued with a bet. Both opponents called, then called again when Ross bet the {4-Hearts} turn.

The river came the {4-Spades} and both Watson and McKeehen checked. Ross this time decided to check behind. Watson turned over {a-Hearts}{6-Hearts} for a missed flush draw, while McKeehen had {k-Clubs}{4-Clubs} for a full house, fours over threes. Ross flashed {a-}{k-} before mucking.

Kenny Hsiung
Kenny Hsiung

Kenny Hsiung raised in the hijack and Anthony Zinno three-bet on the button. Hsiung called.

On the {9-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{2-Hearts} flop, Hsiung check-called a bet from Zinno.

The {q-Hearts} turn was checked through to see the {3-Hearts} on the river, putting a four-flush possibility. Hsiung checked once again to Zinno who tossed in a bet. Hsiung paused for a brief moment and made the call.

Zinno tabled {a-Clubs}{10-Clubs} for ace-high and Hsiung took down the pot with a pair of threes as he showed {a-Spades}{3-Spades}.

Zinno Takes the Rest From Shack-Harris

Level 20 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante
Brandon Shack-Harris
Brandon Shack-Harris

Brandon Shack-Harris was all in pre-flop, with a 28,000 side pot between Anthony Zinno and Pedro Rios. Zinno bet the {8-Clubs}{9-Spades}{q-Diamonds} flop and Rios quickly folded.

Zinno showed {j-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}, while Shack-Harris had {a-Hearts}{7-Spades}. "Jacks haven't been holding up well today," Shack-Harris said hopefully heading to the turn.

The {j-Hearts} fell on the turn. "Except now," Shack-Harris added. He hit his ace on the {a-Spades} river but it was too late as the two-time bracelet winner was eliminated.

Zhu Crack's Shack-Harris' Aces

With roughly 300,000 in the middle the board read {10-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{3-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{6-Spades} and Brandon Shack-Harris was faced with a bet from Yueqi Zhu.

After a long tank and some mumblings, Shack-Harris put in the call. Zhu instantly rolled over {10-Spades}{9-Spades} for a flush on the river and Shack-Harris looked annoyed as he tabled {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}.
