Becker Check-Raises on River

Level 14 : 8,000/16,000, 0 ante

Action was caught on the flop in a hand between Todd Brunson, Johannes Becker and Alex Livingston.

Alex Livingston, who was introducing his new bracelet to everybody on his table few minutes ago, was on the button.

Action checked through on the {10-Hearts}{2-Spades}{a-Diamonds} flop before Livingston bet on the {9-Diamonds} turn. Brunson, who was first to act in that hand, folded, while Becker called.

On the {j-Hearts} river, Becker checked again. Livingston bet and then Becker raised. Livingston thought about it for a while before calling.

Becker quickly showed {a-Spades}{q-Spades}{8-Clubs}{6-Clubs} for a straight. Livingston mucked, and the chips went in the direction of Becker.
