Bojang Battles Yockey and Schwartz

Level 14 : 8,000/16,000, 0 ante

Ismael Bojang opened to 16,000 from the cutoff before Bryce Yockey made it 24,000 from the small blind. Jake Schwartz called in the big blind and Bojang also called.

Action checked to Bojang on the {q-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{6-Hearts} flop. He bet 8,000 and both players called. Bojang bet 16,000 on the {9-Diamonds} turn which prompted two quick folds from his opponents.

Becker Check-Raises on River

Level 14 : 8,000/16,000, 0 ante

Action was caught on the flop in a hand between Todd Brunson, Johannes Becker and Alex Livingston.

Alex Livingston, who was introducing his new bracelet to everybody on his table few minutes ago, was on the button.

Action checked through on the {10-Hearts}{2-Spades}{a-Diamonds} flop before Livingston bet on the {9-Diamonds} turn. Brunson, who was first to act in that hand, folded, while Becker called.

On the {j-Hearts} river, Becker checked again. Livingston bet and then Becker raised. Livingston thought about it for a while before calling.

Becker quickly showed {a-Spades}{q-Spades}{8-Clubs}{6-Clubs} for a straight. Livingston mucked, and the chips went in the direction of Becker.

Henson Scoops Deeb

Level 14 : 8,000/16,000, 0 ante
Raymond Henson
Raymond Henson

Freddy Deeb raised in late position, and Raymond Henson called from the button.

Deeb checked the {q-Spades}{7-Spades}{2-Spades} flop and then raised following a bet from Henson. Deeb also bet the {a-Diamonds} turn and the {3-Hearts} river.

Henson showed his {a-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{5-Spades}{6-Spades} (spade flush and 6-5 low); he was way ahead the {a-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{k-Clubs} (aces-up and seven-low) of Deeb.

Raymond Henson scooped the pot to become the chip leader.

Bronshtein Leaves Biton Short

Level 14 : 8,000/16,000, 0 ante

On the very first hand of this level, Patrice Biton decided to defend his big blind after a raise from Yuval Bronshtein in middle position.

Biton check-called on the {6-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{3-Spades} flop to see the {j-Hearts} on the turn. He checked then folded when facing another bet from Bronshtein.

As that hand progressed, Chris Bell left the tournament room after being felted by Jake Schwartz.
