Wolansky Makes Sick Fold

Level 15 : 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

On the stone cold bubble and with action folded round to the cutoff, the button and Steven Wolansky both limped in. The big blind checked and saw a flop of {3-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{a-Spades}.

Wolanksy led for 5,000, leaving himself 17,000 behind. The big blind folded, and the button shoved for 30,000 total.

Wolansky went into the tank for roughly a minute, before slowly rolling his cards and announcing fold.

He showed {a-Spades}{q-Diamonds}

The button said "Wow, that's a sick fold", and showed {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}

Neuhauser Doubles at the Bubble

Level 15 : 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

The flop showed {4-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{k-Clubs} with around 38,000 in the middle in a heads-up situation. Frank Neuhouser shoved his last 17,000 after a check from his opponent and the latter called:

Frank Neuhouser: {a-Spades}{10-Clubs}
Opponent: {k-Spades}{7-Clubs}

Neuhouser didn't find any help on the {j-Spades} turn but the {q-Diamonds} fell on the river, turning his hand into a straight to give him the needed double up.

Level 15 : 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Holley Not Afraid Of Bubble

Level 15 : 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

As the field approaches the bubble, action was raised from the cutoff to 9,000. The button called, as did Eric Holley from the big blind.

The flop fell {5-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{j-Hearts}, and Holley led out for 8,000. The cutoff raised to 28,000, and the button folded. Holley smooth called to see the turn.

The {6-Hearts} saw Holley check, and the cutoff shoved for 62,000. Holley snap called and flipped his hand before his chips reached the pot.

Cutoff: {a-Clubs}{9-Hearts}
Eric Holley: {a-Hearts}{3-Hearts}

Holley had the nuts and the cutoff was drawing dead. The rivered {7-Diamonds} was inconsequential, seeing Holley chip up.
