Arieh Doubles With Flopped Quads

Level 25 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Josh Arieh
Josh Arieh

Josh Arieh from under the gun, Scott Ball in the small blind and Gregory Shuda in the big blind headed to the {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{6-Spades} flop. Ball checked and Shuda bet 300,000 for Arieh to call and Ball to fold.

"Pot," Shuda declared on the {8-Spades} turn, which happened to be for 1,500,000 in total. Arieh had fewer than that behind and snap-called all-in.

Josh Arieh: {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}
Gregory Shuda: {a-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{10-Clubs}

The {q-Spades} river was already meaningless as Arieh had flopped quads kings and doubled for 1,070,000, putting a dent into Shuda's big stack.
