Day 1 of the Event #19: $25,000 Pot-Limit Omaha High Roller at the 2022 World Series of Poker (WSOP) has wrapped up after ten hours of play with New York's Jared Bleznick bagging the chip lead with a stack of 601,500 over the 124 players left standing at the end of the day.
Close on the tail of Bleznick, who is after his first bracelet, is one-time bracelet winner Ben Lamb, who bagged a stack 540,500 on his second bullet.
Other big stacks who will join Lamb and Bleznick on Day 2 include Chris DeMaci (586,000), Sean Winter (578,000), two-time bracelet winner Scott Ball (403,500), three-time bracelet winner Chance Kornuth (333,000) and Poker Hall of Famer and ten-time bracelet winner Phil Ivey (360,500).

The High Roller PLO tournament attracted 196 entrants and many of poker's biggest stars and best players, including Daniel Negreanu, Erik Seidel, Connor Drinan, Anthony Zinno and Dario Sammartino.
Some of the players who didn't make it through the ten levels of play include Julien Martini, Jesse Lonis, Tommy Le, Gavin Cochrane and Fraser MacIntyre.
Action will pick back up with Day 2 on Friday, June 10 at 2 p.m. local time in the Paris purple section. Like Day 1, Day 2 will play for 10 one-hour levels with 15-minute breaks every two levels and a 60-minute dinner break after Level 16 at around 8:30 p.m.

In a battle of the blinds, the turn showed and Chris Brewer made it 20,000 to go out of the small blind. Dario Sammartino called out of the big blind and they headed to the on the river.
Brewer now bet 55,000 with 1,000 behind and Sammartino tossed his cards into the muck.

Following a cutoff raise to 6,000 by James Chen in the cutoff, Matthew Wantman on the button and John Racener in the big blind called. They headed to the flop on which it checked to Chen, who bet 10,000. Wantman called and Racener then went for a check-raise to 47,000.
This shut down both opponents and Racener chipped up late on Day 1.

Three ways to the turn, the action was checked by Stephen Chidwick in the big blind. Anthony Zinno bet 16,000 from under the gun and Gjergj Sinishtaj called on the button while Chidwick folded. The fell on the river and Zinno now bet 30,000.
Sinishtaj gave it some consideration and ultimately folded, exposing the in the process.
