Kuney Jams Up Stack Successfully

Level 10 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

On a completed board of {q-Hearts}{10-Spades}{6-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{a-Spades}, Brian Rast in the big blind checked his option. He then faced the bet for 151,000 by Michael Kuney, who had exactly one T-500 chip behind beyond the size of the pot. Rast was sent deep into the tank, talked through potential combos, vaulted out of his chair and eventually settled on a fold.

Kornuth Jams on Bleznick

Level 10 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Chance Kornuth was out of position in a heads-up pot against Jared Bleznick.

Kornuth checked on the flop of {6-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{3-Spades} and called a bet of 8,000 from Bleznick. Kornuth again check-called on the {k-Spades} turn when faced with a bet of 13,000.

Kornuth checked a third time on the {8-Hearts} river and Bleznick fired a bet of 32,000. Kornuth took a moment before check-raising all-in, which got a fold from Bleznick.

Kornuth let out a chuckle before tabling {a-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} without revealing his fourth card.

Sammartino Scores a Knockout

Level 9 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

A short stacked player got it in after the {a-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} flop only to get snap-called by Dario Sammartino. They were on very thin ice with {a-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{6-Spades}{5-Clubs} because Sammartino had the top set with {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{8-Spades}.

I was all over on the {q-Clubs} turn and that made the {q-Diamonds} river a formality.

Hochman Bluffs Kempton

Level 9 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Isaac Kempton recently bought back in and and got involved in a pot with Corey Hochman and two other players.

One player bet 10,000 on the flop of {6-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} and Kempton and Hochman both called, while the fourth player in the hand folded.

The opponent slowed down and checked on the {5-Diamonds} turn and Kempton fired a bet of 30,000. Only Hochman called.

Kempton checked on the {3-Hearts} river and Hochman threw out a bet of 50,000. Kempton instantly shot his cards into the muck, at which point Hochman tabled {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{x-} for a bluff with missed diamonds.

"Oh my goodness. He had nothing!" exclaimed table mate Chance Kornuth.

Tsang Makes the Right Fold Against Lamb

Level 9 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

The three-way flop of {k-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{9-Spades} was checked to Anson Tsang on the button and he made it 10,000 to go. Ben Lamb in the big blind was the only caller and the {a-Diamonds} turn went check, check. Lamb then bet the {3-Spades} river for 31,000 and Tsang tank-folded.

Lamb offered to reveal two cards and tossed them towards Tsang, who selected two and flipped over the {a-Spades}{2-Spades} for the nut flush.

Tommy Le
Tommy Le

Three ways to the {9-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{2-Clubs} flop the action checked through and Tommy Le then bet the {9-Clubs} turn for 5,000, which forced folds all around.

One hand later they were four ways to the {k-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{6-Clubs} flop and Connor Drinan bet 10,000 in the small blind. Only Le called on the button and then led the {3-Clubs} turn for 10,000 when Drinan had checked. A reluctant call by Drinan led to the {k-Spades} river on which he checked.

Le got his last 15,000 in and Drinan paid it off after plenty of consideration to get shown the {a-Clubs}{9-Spades}{8-Clubs}{4-Clubs} for the nut flush by Le, which beat his {k-Spades}{q-Spades}{9-Hearts}{8-Hearts} for trips kings.

Mahmood Gets There With Nut Wrap

Level 9 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Ayaz Mahmood was in a heads-up pot against the small blind on a board reading {7-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{6-Spades}.

The small blind led out with a flop bet of 25,000 and Mahmood raised all-in for 74,500. The small blind took about a minute before calling with a slightly bigger stack.

Ayaz Mahmood: {9-Clubs}{8-Spades}{j-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}
Small Blind: {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}

The small blind had a pair of kings while Mahmood had an array of outs with the nut wrap. The {9-Hearts} on the turn gave him the straight and had his opponent drawing dead headed to the {3-Hearts} river, securing a double-up for Mahmood.
