Kempton Busts to "Great Player" Hendrix

Level 9 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Eelis Pärssinen raised to 6,000 and received two callers in Adam Hendrix short stack Isaac Kempton in the single big blind.

On the {6-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} flop, Kempton jammed the rest of it and Pärssinen folded while Hendrix sigh-called.

Isaac Kempton: {7-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{4-Spades}{4-Diamonds}
Adam Hendrix: {k-Spades}{9-Spades}{8-Clubs}{6-Clubs}

The {7-Clubs} turn instantly improved Hendrix to the nut straight and the {q-Clubs} river was a blank.

"You are a great player ... see you on the final table," Kempton joked and received "see you when I am on the rail" as a reply.

Pärssinen Busts Martini With a Straight Flush

Level 9 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Julien Martini
Julien Martini

Eelis Pärssinen raised and received a three-bet by Julien Martini in the big blind. Only the two of them remained on the {k-Spades}{9-Spades}{6-Clubs} flop on which Martini bet the pot and Pärssinen called. The {6-Hearts} turn went check, check and Martini checked the {10-Spades} on the river.

Pärssinen now bet the pot for 126,000 and that covered Martini's remaining stack of around 113,000 and the Frenchman tank-called all-in.

"Straight flush," Pärssinen announced and rolled over the {q-Spades}{j-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}. Martini exposed his {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{x-} briefly and headed to the rail.

Hannawa Doubles Through Kempton

Level 8 : 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Eelis Pärssinen limped in and Danny Hannawa then raised to 5,000 in order to pick up three callers including Adam Hendrix, Philip Wiszowaty and Julien Martini. Isaac Kempton potted to 33,000 in the small blind and Hannawa was the only caller.

On a flop of {7-Spades}{3-Clubs}{2-Spades}, Kempton bet the pot for 70,500 and then called the all-in of Hannawa for 80,200.

Danny Hannawa: {a-Spades}{k-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}
Isaac Kempton: {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}

The {4-Spades} turn instantly locked up the double for Hannawa and that made the {8-Clubs} river a formality.
