Le Loses a Small Pot

Level 2 : 200/400, 400 ante

One of the most prolific Pot-Limit Omaha players in the history of the World Series of Poker is most certainly Tommy Le with more than half a dozen final tables and two gold bracelets to his name. Le entered a few minutes ago and was just involved in a small pot out of the big blind.

Le check-called for 1,000 on the {q-Spades}{j-Clubs}{4-Spades} flop and then checked again the {3-Spades} on the turn and then faced a bet worth 1,500, which was enough to force a fold from Le.

Keijzer Builds Stack Further

Level 2 : 200/400, 400 ante

Three ways to the {7-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} flop, Krzysztof Magott checked out of the small blind and one other player checked. Ronald Keijzer bet 3,000 in the cutoff and received two calls. The trio checked the {10-Clubs} on the turn and the {5-Clubs} fell on the river.

It now checked to Keijzer once more and he made it 9,000 to go. Magott was the only caller but mucked once he was shown the {8-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{4-Diamonds} for the seven-high straight

New Entries in the Field

Level 2 : 200/400, 400 ante

Michael Kamran arrived at his table with a smile on the face and loudly announced "I gonna fuck you all." He is just one of several notables that entered as of late with Sean Winter, Jesse Lonis, Tommy Le, Allan Le and Chance Kornuth all in the mix.

Riordan Chips Up With Aces

Level 2 : 200/400, 400 ante

John Riordan made it 8,200 to go out of the big blind in a heads-up pot to the {q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{4-Spades} turn and he was called by the cutoff. The {8-Spades} fell on the river and both players then opted to check.

Riordan turned over the {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{2-Clubs} for a pair of aces and that was good enough to win the pot.

Chidwick and Guerra Go to War

Level 2 : 200/400, 400 ante
Stephen Chidwick
Stephen Chidwick

Three ways to the {k-Spades}{j-Spades}{7-Hearts} flop with 4,700 in the middle, Stephen Chidwick bet 3,500 and Lautaro Guerra then raised to 12,000. That forced out the third player in the hand while Chidwick stuck around. Both checked the {4-Diamonds} on the turn and Chidwick bet the {3-Clubs} river for 7,500.

Guerra called after brief consideration and mucked once the 2019 winner of this event turned over {k-Clubs}{10-Spades}{8-Spades}{7-Clubs} for kings and sevens.

Small Flush for Ivey

Level 1 : 200/300, 300 ante

A middle position player raised to 800 and Poker Hall of Famer Phil Ivey defended out of the big blind.

Ivey checked on the flop of {7-Spades}{a-Spades}{4-Spades} and called a bet of 600 from his opponent. Ivey checked again on the {q-Spades} turn and his opponent checked back.

Ivey checked a third time on the {a-Diamonds} river and his opponent checked before announcing he had two pair. Ivey then turned over {6-Spades}{4-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} for a flopped flush and took down the pot.

Gryko Builds Stack Without Showdown

Level 1 : 200/300, 300 ante

Four ways to the {j-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{4-Diamonds} turn, Richard Gryko bet 1,500 and he received two callers including Corey Hochman on the button while Veselin Karakitukov in the big blind folded.

The {8-Clubs} river was checked by Gryko and Hochman then bet 4,500. What followed was a check-raise to 15,000 by Gryko and Hochman reluctantly folded.
