Rocco Chips Up Against Cowen

Level 4 : 300/600, 600 ante

The action was checked by Michael Rocco out of the small blind on the {a-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{2-Spades} turn and he then called a bet worth 10,500 by Robert Cowen in the cutoff. Both players checked the {q-Spades} river and Rocco flashed the {a-Clubs}{a-Spades}{x-}{x-} for a few seconds as Cowen mucked.

Bleznick Eliminated by Julia

Level 4 : 300/600, 600 ante
Nicholas Julia
Nicholas Julia

Nicholas Julia raised to 2,100 and received no fewer than four callers as they headed to the {10-Spades}{8-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} flop on which John Kabbaj and Julia checked. Jarez Bleznick bet the pot and it folded all the way back to the initial preflop raiser. Julia tanked for a short while and engaged in table chat with Bleznick before popping it up and Bleznick called all-in for around 40,000.

Jared Bleznick: {a-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{2-Clubs}
Nicholas Julia: {k-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{q-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}

The {7-Diamonds} turn gave Julia the flush draw but he instead spiked the {9-Hearts} on the river to eliminate Bleznick.

MacIntyre Eliminated in Three-Way All-In

Level 3 : 300/500, 500 ante
Jamie Leonescu
Jamie Leonescu

Just before the blinds went up, a multi-way flop of {7-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{2-Spades} brought a raising war in which Fraser MacIntyre was all-in for 98,500 while Jamie Leonescu was at risk some more. They were both looked up by Stephen Chidwick as a large pot emerged.

Fraser MacIntyre: {a-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{4-Diamonds}
Jamie Leonescu: {8-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}
Stephen Chidwick: {8-Spades}{7-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}

The wraps for MacIntyre and Chidwick were trailing against a set and MacIntyre had the nut flush draw to go with it while Chidwick could scoop with a seven. Nothing changed on the {a-Clubs} turn and {q-Diamonds} river to eliminate MacIntyre and let Leonescu nearly triple up.

Riordan Gets Opponent to Fold Second Nuts

Level 3 : 300/500, 500 ante

John Riordan was in the small blind in a multi-way pot on a board reading {j-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}.

Riordan checked on the flop and Ben Lamb bet 5,100. Riordan and an in-position player both called. Riordan and Lamb both checked on the {10-Hearts} turn and the in-position player bet 19,000. Riordan and Lamb both called.

The river brought the {6-Diamonds} and Riordan led out with a bet of 40,000. Lamb folded after some deliberation and the third player in the hand folded {q-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} face-up for the second nut flush.

"Right?" the player asked the table, looking for validation.

"Tough," replied Ayaz Mahmood.

Le Loses Some to Sebag

Level 3 : 300/500, 500 ante
Tommy Le
Tommy Le

Tommy Le bet the {a-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{8-Spades} turn for 1,000 out of the small blind and Emmanuel Sebag came along in late position. Le then also bet the {k-Clubs} river for 5,200 and Sebag called. The {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} of Le made aces and kings on the river but Sebag had that beat with the {10-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} for trips eights.

For Sebag, it is the second entry already after he was eliminated earlier and re-entered.

Chidwick Further Boosts Stack

Level 3 : 300/500, 500 ante

Heads-up to the {a-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} flop, Philip Long check-called a bet worth 3,300 by Stephen Chidwick and both then elected to check the {7-Clubs} on the turn. After the {2-Hearts} river, Long checked once more and Chidwick bet 11,000 in order to force a fold from the fellow Brit.

Soon after a new table opened to move Long, who was replaced by Fraser MacIntyre.
