Le Doubles Through Drinan

Level 9 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Tommy Le
Tommy Le

Three ways to the {9-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{2-Clubs} flop the action checked through and Tommy Le then bet the {9-Clubs} turn for 5,000, which forced folds all around.

One hand later they were four ways to the {k-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{6-Clubs} flop and Connor Drinan bet 10,000 in the small blind. Only Le called on the button and then led the {3-Clubs} turn for 10,000 when Drinan had checked. A reluctant call by Drinan led to the {k-Spades} river on which he checked.

Le got his last 15,000 in and Drinan paid it off after plenty of consideration to get shown the {a-Clubs}{9-Spades}{8-Clubs}{4-Clubs} for the nut flush by Le, which beat his {k-Spades}{q-Spades}{9-Hearts}{8-Hearts} for trips kings.

Pärssinen Busts Martini With a Straight Flush

Level 9 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Julien Martini
Julien Martini

Eelis Pärssinen raised and received a three-bet by Julien Martini in the big blind. Only the two of them remained on the {k-Spades}{9-Spades}{6-Clubs} flop on which Martini bet the pot and Pärssinen called. The {6-Hearts} turn went check, check and Martini checked the {10-Spades} on the river.

Pärssinen now bet the pot for 126,000 and that covered Martini's remaining stack of around 113,000 and the Frenchman tank-called all-in.

"Straight flush," Pärssinen announced and rolled over the {q-Spades}{j-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}. Martini exposed his {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{x-} briefly and headed to the rail.

Near Triple Up for Sebag

Level 8 : 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante
Emmanuel Sebag
Emmanuel Sebag

A preflop raising war ultimately got the chips of Allen Feldman in the small blind for 79,300 and Emmanuel Sebag in the hijack into the middle with the latter also being at risk for 98,500. Jordan Spurlin looked them both up out of the big blind with the biggest stack.

Allen Feldman: {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{k-Spades}{8-Clubs}
Emmanuel Sebag: {8-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}
Jordan Spurlin: {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{7-Clubs}

The undercards of Sebag got there on the {9-Spades}{8-Hearts}{4-Spades}{5-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} runout as Feldman was knocked out while Sebag nearly tripled up.

Jesse Lonis
Jesse Lonis

With 4,200 invested before the flop between Jesse Lonis and Krasimir Yankov on the button, the {j-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} flop was checked and Lonis then bet the {a-Clubs} turn for 7,200 and the {6-Spades} river for 13,600. Yankov called both times but couldn't beat the {a-Spades}{q-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{5-Clubs} of Lonis.

Bleznick Has the Worse Two Pair; Gets an Earful from Kornuth

Level 5 : 400/800, 800 ante
Laszlo Bujtas
Laszlo Bujtas

Jared Bleznick was in a single-raised multi-way pot and saw a flop of {8-Clubs}{3-Spades}{10-Hearts}.

Bleznick bet 8,000 and only Laszlo Bujtas called. Bleznick checked on the {6-Spades} turn and his opponent checked back. Bleznick checked again on the {a-Hearts} river and Bujtas also checked before both players announced they had two pair.

"I think I have you," said Bleznick before tabling {10-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}.

He did not as Bujtas tabled a better two pair with {10-Clubs}{8-Spades}{q-Clubs}{5-Hearts} to take down the pot.

"How charmed of a life do you have to live that you have ten-six there and think you have the best hand?" table mate Chance Kornuth chimed.

"I have a charmed life?" asked a confused Bleznick.

"Implying that ten-six is never good there," Kornuth explained. "On what planet is ten-six good!?"

Kornuth Doubles Through Kamran

Level 4 : 300/600, 600 ante
Chance Kornuth
Chance Kornuth

Chance Kornuth and Michael Kamran were involved in a three-bet pot with two other players.

The flop of {q-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{10-Spades} checked through and Kornuth led out with a pot-sized bet of 30,600 on the {2-Clubs} turn. Kamran, who was next to act, re-raised to put Kornuth all-in for 115,800.

The action folded to Kornuth and he squirmed in his chair and ran his fingers through his hair as he studied the board.

"Alright," Kornuth said before making the call.

Chance Kornuth: {q-Hearts}{6-Spades}{a-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}
Michael Kamran: {k-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}

"Queen-six," Kornuth said as he revealed his hand.

"It's good," Kamran said before turning over the overpair and flush draw.

The river did not improve Kamran's hand and Kornuth took down the big pot with two pair to double up.

Bleznick Eliminated by Julia

Level 4 : 300/600, 600 ante
Nicholas Julia
Nicholas Julia

Nicholas Julia raised to 2,100 and received no fewer than four callers as they headed to the {10-Spades}{8-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} flop on which John Kabbaj and Julia checked. Jarez Bleznick bet the pot and it folded all the way back to the initial preflop raiser. Julia tanked for a short while and engaged in table chat with Bleznick before popping it up and Bleznick called all-in for around 40,000.

Jared Bleznick: {a-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{2-Clubs}
Nicholas Julia: {k-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{q-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}

The {7-Diamonds} turn gave Julia the flush draw but he instead spiked the {9-Hearts} on the river to eliminate Bleznick.

MacIntyre Eliminated in Three-Way All-In

Level 3 : 300/500, 500 ante
Jamie Leonescu
Jamie Leonescu

Just before the blinds went up, a multi-way flop of {7-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{2-Spades} brought a raising war in which Fraser MacIntyre was all-in for 98,500 while Jamie Leonescu was at risk some more. They were both looked up by Stephen Chidwick as a large pot emerged.

Fraser MacIntyre: {a-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{4-Diamonds}
Jamie Leonescu: {8-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}
Stephen Chidwick: {8-Spades}{7-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}

The wraps for MacIntyre and Chidwick were trailing against a set and MacIntyre had the nut flush draw to go with it while Chidwick could scoop with a seven. Nothing changed on the {a-Clubs} turn and {q-Diamonds} river to eliminate MacIntyre and let Leonescu nearly triple up.

Full House for Benyamine

Level 2 : 200/400, 400 ante
David Benyamine
David Benyamine

David Benyamine was in a five-way pot on a board of {4-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{4-Spades} and bet 2,300. Two players called.

Benyamine bet 2,500 on the {a-Hearts} turn and only one opponent called. The river brought the {5-Hearts} and the opponent led out with a bet of 5,000.

"Really?" Benyamine asked before calling.

The opponent showed {q-Hearts}{3-Hearts} in his hand for a flush, but it was no good against the {a-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{8-Spades} of Benyamine for fours full of aces.
