Barash Makes Fantastic Call to Climb the Leaderboard

Level 9 : 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

With 35,000 in the pot on a {q-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} board, Nadav Barash was faced with a difficult decision from the big blind as the player on the button bet 25,000 on the river.

After taking a little over a minute to make the decision, Barash made the correct call with {k-Hearts}{2-Spades}, with his opponent attempting a bluff with {a-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}.

Delmas Back To Starting Stack

Level 9 : 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

After a complicated start, Adrien Delmas is back to starting stack.

Delmas defended his big blind after a raise from a player in middle position and a call from Jamal Sawaqdeh on the button.

On the {7-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{a-Clubs} flop, Delmas checked, and the preflop aggressor made a continuation bet to 4,000. Sawaqdeh called and Delmas announced all-in for 19,500.

The first player quickly folded and after few seconds, Sawaqdeh decided to make the call.

Adrien Delmas : {10-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}
Jamal Sawaqdeh : {k-Diamonds}{j-Spades}

Turn and river came {8-Hearts} and {4-Clubs} and Delmas secured the double up with his tens and eights.

On the very next hand, he also three-bet from the small blind after a raise from Eze Waigel on the button. The Argentinian folded and Delmas was back to starting stack.

Figueroa Calls Opponent's 5x Pot-Sized Jam and Wins

Level 9 : 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Victor Figueroa opened to 3,500 from middle position and the big blind called.

The flop came {k-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} and the big blind jammed 42,000 into a 9,500-chip pot. After slight deliberation, Figueroa called.

Big Blind: {a-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}
Victor Figueroa: {k-Spades}{j-Spades}

Even though Figueroa was ahead with a pair of kings, he was about a 47.5% underdog to actually win the hand against the big blind's middle pair and nut flush draw.

However, Figueroa's pair of kings would hold as the board ran out {9-Spades}{5-Spades} to send his opponent to the rail.

K.L. Cleeton was found leaving the area, not to take a break, but because his tournament was over.

He entrusted us that he three-bet all-in with {a-}{j-} for his last 70,000 and was called by a player with {4-}{4-}.

"Flop came an ace, but the river was a four", explained Cleeton before leaving the Bally's Ballroom.

Regis Runs Into Aces

Level 10 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Herve Regis was down to 34,000 and decided to take his chance with {a-Clubs}{k-Spades} in middle position.

Everybody folded until Colin Perry, who was in the small blind, stuck around, and for good reason as he held the {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}.

The aces had no difficulty in eliminating the French player as they held strong through a dry runout.
