Deeb Gets Some Back

Brian Hastings opened under the gun and action folded around to Shaun Deeb in the small blind who opted to three-bet. Hastings made the call to send the two players to the initial draw.

Deeb took one card on the first draw while Hastings decided to draw two. Deeb followed up his initial aggression with a bet, which Hastings called.

The second draw saw Deeb stand pat and then fire off another bet after Hastings took two. Hastings was not yet prepared to let go of his holding and flatted.

Deeb again stood pat and put out another bet following the final drawl. Hastings, who had taken just one card, reluctantly threw his hand away.

Wasserson Extends Chip Lead

Wasserson bet and Zack called. The draws repeated and Wasserson bet again. Zack called.

On the last draw, both players drew one and Wasserson bet. Zack appeared to open-muck {k-}{k-}.

Kelsall Doubles Through Wasserson

Eric Wasserson opened from the button and Andrew Kelsall three-bet all in from the small blind. Wasserson made the call to put Kelsall at risk.

Kelsall took two cards on the initial draw and Wasserson took one. The same pattern was repeated on the second draw but Keslall stood pat on the final draw. Wasserson drew one and turned over {10-}{8-}{7-}{4-}{2-} which could not beat Kelsall's eight perfect.

Hastings bet and Deeb called. The draws repeated and this time Deeb folded to a bet from Hastings.

Johnson Raises River

Action was after the third draw in yet another heads-up pot between Shaun Deeb and Marco Johnson who have battled in several hands so far on the final day.

Johnson had bet, Deeb had raised and Johnson had then made it three bets with Deeb facing a decision. He had counted out the chips to call and appeared frustrated at the decision at hand.

He fanned his cards and looked at them intently before flinging them into the muck.

Deeb drew one and Bronshtein drew two. Again Deeb bet and Bronshtein called.

Both players drew one and checked.

"King," announced Deeb and Bronshtein tabled {q-}{8-}{6-}{5-}{2-} and won the pot.

Zack Gets a Fold

Eric Wasserson opened from the button and Daniel Zack defended out of the big blind.

Zack took three cards on the initial draw while Wasserson drew one. Zack then check-raised the continuation from Wasserson, who flatted.

On the next draw both players stood pat after which Zack check-raised for a second time and once again Wasserson made the call.

Zack stood pat during the final draw but Wasserson discarded one. Zack then led out and Wasserson wasted little time before releasing his hand.

"Show the snow", joked Kelsall as Zack tossed his winning hand face down into the muck.
