Weng Gets Lucky to Eliminate Opponent

Level 20 : 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

Joining the action on the flop of {9-Spades}{6-Clubs}{3-Clubs} Stan Weng bet 90,000 from the big blind. His opponent in the hijack called.

The turn was the {10-Clubs} and Weng continued to bet but this time sized down to 75,000. His opponent paused for a while before announcing all in for 445,000. Weng gave it a little thought before deciding to call, however he was behind.

Hijack: {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs}
Stan Weng: {a-Clubs}{9-Hearts}

His opponent had the nuts and Weng needed a club. The club came when the {2-Clubs} was the river which made Weng have the nut flush eliminating his opponent from the tournament.

Trujillo Flips Back into Contention

Level 20 : 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

One of the most classic coin flips unfolded with Santiago Moises Trujillo as the player at risk and his rail from Argentina jumped a little bit closer to the table to see the action unfold against Christophe Panetti.

Santiago Moises Trujillo: {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}
Christophe Panetti: {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs}

The {a-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} board provided the ace in the window and Trujillo held onto his lead to stay in contention.

Assorted Counts in the Field

Level 20 : 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

On the tail end of a heads-up pot between Aram Zobian and his table neighbour, the board showed {j-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{k-Hearts}. Zobian had checked and then faced a bet worth 110,000, which sent the former WSOP Main Event finalist into a brief tank. No call followed and Zobian dropped just below the average stack.

Turner Eliminates "The Marathoner"

Level 20 : 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

A player from under the gun opened for 35,000 and a player in late position called. The small blind shoved for 325,000 and the player commonly known as "The Marathoner," who is often seen with 50-70 phones at his table, put his last 20,000 into the middle without looking.

The original raiser folded but the player in late position contemplated before calling himself.

"The Marathoner": {q-Hearts}{10-Hearts}
Joshua Turner: {j-Spades}{j-Hearts}
Late Position: {8-Hearts}{8-Clubs}

The flop came {10-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}, which had Turner still ahead. The board ran out {k-Clubs}{7-Spades} to give Turner a big pot and keep his million-dollar hopes alive.

Rafael Reis

Joining the action three-ways to a flop of {j-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{6-Hearts}, action checked to the button who bet 45,000. Rafael Reis was in the big blind and raised to 200,000. The third player folded and the button called.

The turn was the {10-Hearts} and Reis checked to his opponent. The button bet 175,000 and Reis raised to 300,000 putting his opponent all in. The button called off.

Rafael Reis: {a-Hearts}{4-Hearts}

Brown's Aces Hold vs. Queens

Level 20 : 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

Brad Brown opened from under the gun and the player to his left shoved for his final 175,000. Brown snap called and tabled his hand.

Early Position: {q-Clubs}{q-Spades}
Brad Brown: {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}

Brown's opponent flipped his queens over as if he was ready to double up and then put his head in his hands when he saw the horrible news.

The jack-high board changed nothing and Brown enjoyed a nice addition to his already booming stack.

The cards were already flipped over and it was confirmed that Faraz Jaka had been all in and at risk preflop for the last 415,000.

His {j-Hearts}{j-Spades} were trailing versus {q-Clubs}{q-Spades} but the {j-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{a-Spades} board delivered quad jacks for the double.
