Smith Hits Spades

Level 20 : 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

Jerod Smith defended his big blind against the raise in early position and check-called a bet of 25,000 on the {7-Spades}{7-Clubs}{6-Spades} flop.

Smith then led out for 55,000 on the {4-Spades} turn and was called. After the {3-Spades} on the river, Smith tapped the table and his opponent followed. "You check, I win" said Smith as he flipped over {k-Spades}{10-Spades} while his opponent showed the {9-Spades} as the cards hit the muck.

Kwaysser Doubles Through Robinson

Level 20 : 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

Lukas Robinson called a raise to 30,000 and then faced the all-in shove of Valdemar Kwaysser for 215,000.

"How much is in the pot?" the British lad asked and ultimately made the call.

Valdemar Kwaysser: {a-Spades}{10-Spades}
Lukas Robinson: {7-Clubs}{7-Spades}

On a board of {9-Spades}{5-Hearts}{2-Spades}{6-Spades}{k-Diamonds}, the third spade came right away on the turn and Robinson had to pay off Kwaysser. However, he won most of the chips back in the next hand to limit the losses of the previous coin flip.

Richter Hits Three-Outer to Double Up

Level 20 : 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

Linus Richter shoved his last 235,000 from the button and was called by the big blind.

Linus Richter: {a-Spades}{4-Clubs}
Big Blind: {j-Spades}{j-Clubs}

The flop came {k-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{10-Hearts}, not giving Richter much help. However, he spiked the {a-Hearts} on the turn to put himself in the lead, though he needed to dodge jacks and queens.

The river was the {5-Spades} and Richter found himself back near a half a million chips.

Cahill and Jaka Battle

Level 20 : 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

Joining the action on the turn the board read {j-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}. Faraz Jaka bet 60,000 from the small blind. Seamus Cahill called from under the gun.

The river came {k-Diamonds} and Jaka put out a small bet of 30,000. Cahill called. Jaka showed {a-Diamonds}{j-Spades} for third pair while Cahill turned over {a-Hearts}{q-Spades} for second pair to take down the pot.

Rosen Among the Biggest Stacks in the Field

Level 20 : 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante
Oren Rosen
Oren Rosen

A short stack was all-in for a mere 130,000 and Oren Rosen flat-called from one seat over while the rest of the table folded.

The player at risk revealed the {k-Clubs}{j-Clubs} and Rosen had the superior {a-Spades}{j-Diamonds}. Despite a mighty sweat on the {5-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} board, the ace was good enough to score the knockout and Rosen then started receiving a massage for the business end of the day.

Flowers! Mizrachi Convinces Keating to Call River Overbet

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Michael Mizrachi
Michael Mizrachi

Alex Keating opened to 28,000 from late position and Michael Mizrachi called from the button.

The flop came {3-Clubs}{k-Spades}{5-Diamonds} and Keating continued for 25,000. Mizrachi called.

Both players checked it down on the {a-Clubs} turn but on the {2-Clubs} river, Keating checked and Mizrachi bet 210,000 into a 136,000-chip pot, leaving roughly 150,000 chips behind.

Keating then went into the tank for roughly five minutes. During this time, the two engaged in table talk, with Mizrachi promising that Keating would be sorry if he called.

Keating then exclaimed how he originally thought Chance (Kornuth) was the best table talker but now believed it was Mizrachi.

After saying he knew he'd be wrong whether he called or folded, Keating called. Mizrachi beamed and shouted "Flowers" and turned over the winning {7-Clubs}{5-Clubs}.

Lentini Doubles Through Lauck

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Jonas Lauck raised to 25,000 and then called the shove by Giuliano Lentini for 102,000 total.

Giuliano Lentini: {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}
Jonas Lauck: {a-Hearts}{6-Hearts}

The suited ace was on very thin ice after the {a-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{2-Spades} flop and the {3-Hearts} turn as well as the {9-Diamonds} river were no threat for Lentini.
