New Chip Leader Puts Old Chip Leader on Fumes

Level 15
Shaun Deeb
Shaun Deeb

Shaun Deeb: {j-Clubs}{2-Spades}{9-Clubs}{a-Spades}/{6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}
Peter Gelencser: {5-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}/{x-}{x-}{x-}
Brandon Shack-Harris: {x-}{x-}/{2-Diamonds}

After Brandon Shack-Harris brought in and Shaun Deeb raised, Peter Gelencser made it two bets to go. Shack-Harris folded and Deeb called.

Gelencser then check-called fourth street, and after action was checked through on fifth, he faced a bet from Deeb on sixth. Gelencser took a minute to examine his shrinking stack, then called.

On seventh, Gelencser begrudgingly called one final bet to see Deeb show two pair, sixes and deuces with no low. The Day 1 chip leader had to muck his cards as he ceded the pot to the new chip leader as the bubble approaches.
