Funkhouser Slows Down Kurtzman

Level 22
David Funkhouser
David Funkhouser

David Funkhouser: {6-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}/{a-Spades}{8-Hearts}{2-Spades}
Eric Kurtzman: {7-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{j-Clubs}/{x-}{x-}{x-}

David Funkhouser defended his bring-in to a completion from Eric Kurtzman, who then check-called bets from Funkhouser on fourth and fifth streets.

The players checked sixth street, but on seventh Kurtzman check-called one more bet. Funkhouser showed a ten high straight and an eight low, forcing Kurtzman to muck his hand.

Shortly after, Funkhouser scooped another pot from Kurtzman with two pair, queens and sixes, over a lone pair of eights showing from Kurtzman, with no low available.
