Yeh Frazzles Yockey With Turn Check-Raise

Level 26 : 120,000/240,000, 0 ante

Omaha Hi-Lo

Bryce Yockey raised with the {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{4-Spades}{3-Spades} and was called by Andrew Yeh in the small blind, who held the {a-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{3-Clubs}. Philip Long came along from the big blind with {j-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} and folded the {k-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{4-Hearts} flop when Yeh bet his nut flush, while Yockey stuck around with the low draw.

The {10-Spades} followed on the turn and Yeh checked. Yockey then bet only for Yeh to check-raise and that sent him into a frazzle before he sigh-folded a spot that would have seen him getting quartered.

Level 26 : 120,000/240,000, 0 ante
Andrew Yeh
Andrew Yeh

Bryce Yockey raised from the button with {7-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{2-Hearts} and Andrew Yeh made the call from the big blind with {a-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{5-Hearts}.

The flop brought {6-Spades}{j-Hearts}{3-Spades}. Yockey continued with a bet. Yeh decided to check-raise after he flopped a set. Yockey made the call in position.

A {7-Hearts} landed on the turn and Yeh continued with a bet. Yockey made a better low than Yeh on the turn and made the call.

Both players had outs to scoop as the river {4-Spades} landed. Neither played had a flush, though Yeh improved to a straight.

Both players checked and Yeh showed the scoop, while Yockey became the new short stack.

Long Scoops Yockey

Level 26 : 120,000/240,000, 0 ante

Omaha Hi-Lo

Philip Long raised the {q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{7-Clubs} in the small blind and Bryce Yockey came along out of the big blind with the {a-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{5-Clubs}. The {a-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{10-Clubs} flop brought a bet by Long and a call by Yockey.

Long then bet the {8-Hearts} turn for Yockey to call and checked the {4-Clubs} river. Yockey checked behind and sighed when he mucked his cards.

Yeh's Creativity Doesn't Go All the Way

Level 26 : 120,000/240,000, 0 ante

Limit Hold'em

Craig Chait won a pot against Philip Long when neither his nines nor the fours of the Brit connected. The next interesting hand saw a raise of Bryce Yockey with the {3-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} and Andrew Yeh defended the big blind. They checked the {10-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{2-Hearts} flop and Yeh led the {2-Spades} turn, picking up a call by Yockey.

Both checked the {8-Spades} on the river and Yockey won the pot. He also claimed the next pot when his ace out-flopped deuces.

Yeh Has it This Time

Level 26 : 120,000/240,000, 0 ante
Andrew Yeh
Andrew Yeh

Limit Hold'em

Craig Chait raised from the cutoff and found only one caller, Andrew Yeh on the button.

The flop brought {10-Spades}{9-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}, Chait followed up with a bet with second pair. Yeh put in the raise with two overs and the open-ender. Chait called.

On the {7-Spades} turn, both players checked as Yeh took the free card.

Yeh made top pair when the {q-Spades} river hit. Chait checked and Yeh made the river bet.

"Oh, Andrew, you can be up to some shenanigans sometimes. Getting creative was the title I heard," said Chait, referencing an earlier PokerNews post. "Such a [expletive] river card."

Eventually Chait did make the call and see the bad news as Yeh showed his queen.

Long Rivers Superior Hand Against Yockey

Level 26 : 120,000/240,000, 0 ante

Limit Hold'em

Bryce Yockey raised it up from the cutoff with the {q-Spades}{10-Spades} and Craig Chait called on the button with {a-Clubs}{10-Clubs}, Philip Long defended the big blind with the {9-Clubs}{8-Spades}. The Brit flopped best on {9-Hearts}{7-Spades}{5-Hearts} and checked, as did Yockey and Chait.

After the {q-Hearts} turn, Long checked again and Yockey bet to force out Chait while Long check-called with the second pair and a gutshot. The {9-Spades} river improved Long and he checked for Yockey to check behind and save himself one big bet.

Seven Card Stud Hi-Lo

Andrew Yeh: {9-Spades}{8-Spades}/{9-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{k-Hearts} - folded sixth street
Craig Chait: {8-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}/{4-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}

Andrew Yeh completed with his split nines and Chait made the call with his three low cards.

Yeh checked fourth street and Chait bet when he hit a three.

"You're not even there yet, Craig," said Yeh.

"I like to bet the come," said Chait.

Both players were telling the truth, and Yeh made the call.

Chait paired on fifth when another four hit.

"Well, still not there," commented Yeh.

"Easy buddy, don't get fresh with me," joked Chait as he bet again. Yeh called.

Chait did get there on sixth when the two hit, completing his low, and he bet. Yeh let it go.

"Very prudent, Andy. Prudent," said Chait.

Philip Long: {k-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} / {k-Hearts}{6-Spades}{3-Clubs}{a-Spades} / {4-Diamonds}
