More for Long; One Quarter for Lamb

Level 21 : 40,000/80,000, 0 ante

Omaha Hi-Lo

Ismael Bojang raised and Bryce Yockey three-bet on the button, Philip Long called in the small blind and Ben Lamb forfeited his big blind. On the {10-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} flop, Long bet and received two calls. Long bet again the {10-Hearts} turn and this time, only Yockey called.

After the {8-Spades} river, Long bet again and Yockey folded.

In the next hand, Yockey raised in the cutoff and Lamb moved in for 115,000, which Bojang and Yockey called. The {7-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{4-Spades} flop brought the check-fold by Bojang and the cards were turned over.

Ben Lamb: {a-Spades}{k-Spades}{10-Clubs}{5-Spades}
Bryce Yockey: {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}

The {4-Hearts} turn and {j-Clubs} river awarded three quarters to Yockey while Lamb received one quarter and dropped to 85,000 in the last hand of Omaha Hi-lo.

Chait "Sees Wasserson's Hand" and Makes a Full House

Level 21 : 40,000/80,000, 0 ante
Craig Chait
Craig Chait

Omaha Hi-Lo

Craig Chait limped the small blind and Eric Wasserson checked his option.

"I saw your hand," said Chait.

"You saw my hand?" asked Wasserson.

"Yeah, you squeezed them right into me," said Chait.

"What do I have?" asked Wasserson.

"I'll tell you after the board," said Chait.

The flop came {6-Clubs}{9-Spades}{7-Diamonds}.

"You don't have any of that," said Chait, and he bet.

"You didn't see my hand then," and Wasserson made the call.

The {j-Clubs} hit the turn and Chait checked. Wasserson bet and Chait check-called.

On the river, the {j-Spades} fell. Chait led out with a bet and Wasserson made the call.

"Full house," said Wasserson, as he showed {6-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{a-Clubs}.

"You didn't see my hand then if you just called turn," laughed Wasserson. "I had outs though, I had outs to scoop."

Lamb Gets Scooped by Yeh

Level 21 : 40,000/80,000, 0 ante

Omaha Hi-Lo

Joining the action on the {8-Hearts}{7-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds} turn, Andrew Yeh bet in the big blind and Ben Lamb called on the button. Yeh bet again the {10-Hearts} river and Lamb mulled it over for a short while before he called.

The {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{6-Spades}{4-Clubs} by Yeh had flopped a straight and a low to win the entire pot, leaving Lamb on just under two big bets.

Lamb Unhappy But Chops With Yockey

Level 21 : 40,000/80,000, 0 ante

Limit Hold'em

On the river of a {6-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{4-Hearts} board, Bryce Yockey check-raised and Ben Lamb on the button sighed with a "I should have checked the turn." Lamb had fewer than one full bet behind and eventually called it off. Yockey tabled the {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs} and Lamb chopped as he had the equally strong {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}.

"Not ace six this time?" Ismael Bojang jokingly asked.

Long Trips Over Yockey

Level 21 : 40,000/80,000, 0 ante

Limit Hold'em

Soon after coming back from the break, Andrew Yeh won a pot without showdown in Limit Hold'em to further build his lead on table one. Bryce Yockey then raised in the cutoff and called a three-bet by Philip Long on the button. Yockey check-called the {a-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} flop and {a-Hearts} turn before the {10-Hearts} river was checked behind by Long.

The {a-Diamonds}{6-Spades} of Yockey for trips aces won the pot as Long quickly tossed the cards into the muck.

Gary Benson
Gary Benson

Gary Benson: {4-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}/{8-Spades}{5-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{5-Spades}/{5-Hearts}
Eric Wasserson: {10-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}/{2-Spades}{10-Hearts}{2-Clubs}

Action picked up on fourth with Gary Benson betting and Eric Wasserson putting in the raise. Benson made the call.

Wasserson continued his aggression with bets on fifth, sixth, and seventh, with Benson going with his hand and committing his whole stack.

"I have a full house," announced Wasserson.

Benson could hardly believe it as he missed his low on seventh, but hit trips that were no good and he was eliminated.

Bojang Gets One Through

Level 20 : 30,000/60,000, 0 ante

Limit Hold'em

The remainder of Stud Hi-Lo didn't shake up the leaderboard too much on table one and the two shortest stacks remained to be Ismael Bojang and Ben Lamb.

It was Bojang who raised from the button and found some action by Bryce Yockey in the big blind. Yockey check-called the {a-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{4-Spades} flop and they checked the {5-Diamonds} turn. Yockey tank-folded the {5-Clubs} river when facing a bet and exposed the {k-Spades}{q-Clubs}.
