Pasquale Shoves River

Level 34 : 250,000/500,000, 500,000 ante

In a pot of roughly 2,000,000 on a board of {q-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}, Romain Galendo check-called a bet of 1,200,000 in the big blind from Frank Pasquale on the button.

On the {k-Diamonds} river Galendo checked and Pasquale put the pressure on by shoving his stack in, covering his opponent. Galendo tanked for a minute but eventually made the fold, awarding the pot to Pasquale.

Big Stacks Collide as Fangayen Busts

Level 34 : 250,000/500,000, 500,000 ante
Jordan Pelon

Bayani Fangayen moved all in for 1,750,000 from early position. Action folded to chip leader Jordan Pelon in the small blind who called, as did fellow big stack Xiang Lin in the big blind.

The flop came {9-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} and Pelon bet 2,250,000. Lin called to create a side pot as they saw the {a-Hearts} on the turn.

Both players checked as the {q-Clubs} fell on the river. Pelon this time bet 6,650,000 and Lin thought about the decision for a moment before folding.

The entire table gasped as Pelon turned over {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs} for the turned full house as Fangayen showed {k-Spades}{6-Spades}.

"When did you like your hand?" a tablemate asked Pelon as his massive chip stack grew even larger.

Ruttler Puts Maximum Pressure

Level 33 : 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante

Action started when William Pollard opened to 900,000 from the button and only Anthony Ruttler made the call in the big blind.

On a flop of {a-Clubs}{8-Spades}{6-Clubs} Ruttler started with a check and Pollard bet out 1,200,000. Ruttler check-raised to 3,000,000 which was quickly called.

The turn was the {q-Spades} and Ruttler jammed all in, covering the stack of Pollard. After much deliberation, Pollard laid down his hand and the pot was awarded to Ruttler.

"Nice Bluff," said Pollard after he folded.

Inayatullah Makes Top Pair at the Worst Time

Level 33 : 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante

Usman Inayatullah moved all in from the hijack for around 4,000,000 and was up against Jamey McKay in the big blind.

Usman Inayatullah: {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}
Jamey McKay: {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}

The {j-Hearts}{10-Spades}{4-Spades} flop gave both players straight draws.

"Nobody wants to hit a pair now," a tablemate said, and Inayatullah would be the one to do it, pairing his queen on the {q-Spades} turn that also gave McKay the nut straight.

The river came the {5-Diamonds} and Inayatullah was eliminated as McKay stood up from his seat and pumped his fist in the air.

Pineiro Scores An Early Pot

Level 33 : 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante

Action was picked up when Martin Pineiro opened from the hijack to 800,000 and only Jeffrey Loiacono made the call in the big blind.

The flop came {k-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{4-Spades} and both players checked. On the {4-Hearts} turn Loiacono took the lead and bet 600,000 which was called.

The {5-Diamonds} completed the board and Loiacono now checked. Pineiro assembled a bet of 2,300,000, and without much thought Loiacono folded.

Kushell Makes Agonizing Call

Level 33 : 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante

Bob Kushell raised to 1,350,000 from early position before Andy Su shoved all in from the cutoff for 4,695,000.

Kushell went into the tank for several minutes as he agonized over the decision. "Sorry guys," he told his tablemates.

"I'm not rushing you," Su told him.

"I know you're not. You're wonderful," Kushell replied as he put his head down.

"I can't believe I'm thinking about folding this," he said, but he eventually threw in a chip to signify a call.

He showed {a-Clubs}{10-Clubs}, but Su had him dominated with {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}.

The board ran out {2-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{q-Spades}{q-Hearts} and Su doubled up.

"If it wasn't suited I wouldn't even have thought about it," Kushell said as he handed over the chips.

Stella Davila came into Day 3 on a short stack of 1,450,000 and got it all in the middle from the hijack on one of the first hands against Sung Keem on the button.

Stella Davila: {k-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}
Sung Keem: {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}

Keem made two pair on the {a-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} flop. Davila picked up a straight draw on the {j-Clubs} turn, but she missed the {4-Clubs} river to hit the rail in the first minutes of the day.
