Level 4 : 600/1,200, 0 ante
Gary Benson
Gary Benson

Omaha Hi-Lo

Joey Couden raised in the cutoff and was called only by Gary Benson in the big blind. The Aussie then bet all the way on a board of {q-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{2-Spades}{4-Spades} and Couden called to get shown the {j-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} for the nut straight. "It's good," Couden said and tapped the table in defeat as he had no low at his disposal.

The table features several notables including Andrew Yeh, who won his first-ever WSOP bracelet last night.

Trivett Wins With a Better Full House

Level 3 : 500/1,000, 0 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

Action was three ways with a small pot building and {3-Spades}{7-Clubs}{4-Spades} on the board. A player in the big blind checked before Michael Trivett checked behind and another player in late position bet 1,500. Both the big blind and Trivett tossed in chips to call and the turn was {4-Hearts}.

All three players checked the turn and {8-Hearts} dropped on the river. The big blind bet 3,300 before Trivett committed 16,100 and his opponent in late position shoved while the big blind got out of the way. The showdown was heads up with Trivett at risk.

His opponent turned over {a-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{7-Diamonds} for sevens full of fours.

"I can beat that," Trivett said as he turned over {a-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} for eights full of fours to take the pot.
