Racener Wins Four-Bet Pot Without Showdown

Level 18 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

Taylor Paur and John Racener were involved in a three-bet pot to the {8-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} flop on which Paur check-called 60,000 and then checked again the {4-Spades} turn. Racener bet 125,000 and won the pot.

Limit Hold'em

Racener then raised and Matthew Ashton three-bet only for Dan Cates to four-bet out of the big blind. He earned two calls and the {9-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} flop was checked to Racener, who bet and received two calls. On the {4-Spades} turn, Cates checked again and Racener bet to win the pot right there without any further resistance.

Aldemir Chips Up; Yockey Jams Up His Stack

Level 18 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

In a heads-up pot to the {8-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} flop between Johannes Becker in the big blind and Koray Aldemir in the under-the-gun position, Becker opted to lead for 120,000 and Aldemir called. The {10-Clubs} turn was checked and Becker also checked the {6-Diamonds} on the river.

Aldemir carefully cut out a bet of more than 350,000 and the instant fold of Becker folded.

At the same time one table over, the turn showed {10-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{4-Spades} and Naoya Kihara checked in the big blind. Bryce Yockey bet 400,000 from under the gun and Kihara tanked for around a minute before he called. Kihara then checked the {10-Spades} on the river and Yockey jammed for the last 660,000 to force a reluctant call by Kihara.

Ap Garza
Ap Garza

Limit Hold'em

Ap Garza raised on the button and Naoya Kihara three-bet from the small blind. Bryce Yockey cold-called from the big blind and Garza also called.

Kihara bet the {a-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{5-Clubs} flop and Garza was the only caller. Kihara bet again on the {a-Hearts} turn and {2-Diamonds} river with Garza calling both times.

Kihara tabled {a-Diamonds}{j-Spades} for trip aces, and Garza flipped over the last remaining {a-Spades} in the deck and mucked his other card, ceding the pot to the Japanese bracelet winner.

Gonzales Can't Quite Finish off Garza

Level 18 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Limit 2-7 Triple Draw

After Matthew Gonzales put Ap Garza on a micro stack in a hand of Stud 8 or Better, Garza was all in against Gonzales shortly after.

Garza put his last 75,000 chips in the middle from the hijack and was called blind by Gonzales in the big blind.

On the first draw Gonzales took four cards, while Garza took two. The second draw saw Gonzales improve to drawing two, while Garza took just one. Their final draw also saw draws of two, then one.

Gonzales showed {9-}{7-}{2-}, while Garza showed {7-}{5-}{4-}{2-}.

Gonzales first revealed a {6-}, giving him the chance of making a winning hand. He then peeked at his other card and told Garza he won. Garza rolled over another {2-}, but he indeed did win as Gonzales showed a second {9-} to give Garza a small double up.

Limit 2-7 Trriple Draw

John Racener and Dan Cates were involved in a larger 2-7 Triple Draw hand and had already surpassed the second draw when Racener bet, Cates raised and Racener made it three bets to pick up a call. Both patted the final draw and Cates check-called a bet.
