Truong Chipping Up on Vogelsong

Level 27 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

All the chips went in the middle on the board {9-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{4-Hearts} between Lee Vogelsong and Patrick Truong, at risk for his tournament's life.

Vogelsong held {a-Spades}{q-Clubs} and was facing {a-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} for Truong who hit two pair on the turn. The {8-Clubs} river didn't change anything and Truong doubled his stack.

Small Pot for Gagnon

Level 26 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

In a raised pot, both the big blind and Samuel Gagnon on the button checked all the way throughout the board {4-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{j-Spades} and a {8-Spades} came on the river. It checked again to Gagnon who opted to 400,000. His opponent took a minute and folded.

Truong Gets Paid by Ciccarelli

Level 26 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

The action was picked up on a board of {4-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{5-Spades}{3-Clubs}{j-Hearts} with a pot around 400,000. John Ciccarelli checked in the small blind and Patrick Truong bet 360,000 from the button.

Ciccarelli went deep into the tank and eventually called. Truong tabled {q-Hearts}{j-Clubs} for a pair of jacks and Ciccarelli sent his cards into the muck.

Gridelli Rivers a Straight in Three-Way All-In

Level 26 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Action was picked up after Sandro Gridelli moved all in from late position with about 435,000 behind. The small blind made the call, moving all in as well to do so, and Mike Vanier made the call from the big blind with both players covered.

Small blind: {7-Spades}{7-Diamonds}
Sandro Gridelli: {9-Hearts}{10-Hearts}
Mike Vanier: {7-Hearts}{8-Hearts}

The small blind was out in front, and picked up a flush draw to go with his pair on the {j-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds} flop. The {7-Spades} on the turn improved him to a set, before the {q-Clubs} hit on the river, giving Gridelli the king high straight. He scooped the pot, sending the small blind out of the tournament and doubling up through Vanier.

Manago Finds a Fold from Wasch

Level 26 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Sarah Wasch raised to 105,000 on the button and Kohichi Manago decided to call in the big blind. The flop fanned {4-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{10-Spades} and Manago didn't take long to call Wasch's continuation for 100,000.

Both checked on the {5-Spades} turn and a {4-Spades} showed up on the river. Wasch fired 275,000 after Manago checked to her and after some thinking, he raised it to 580, 000, with only a few chips left behind. Wasch ended up folding her hand.

Hyatt's Aces Hold

Level 26 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Jonathan Hyatt
Jonathan Hyatt

After a raise to early position to 125,000, Jonathan Hyatt reraised to 450,000. The button four-bet to around 1,500,000. The early position player went into the tank for a few minutes, before making the laydown. Hyatt five bet shoved and the button called as the player at risk.

Opponent: {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}
Jonathan Hyatt: {a-Clubs}{a-Spades}

Hyatt was way ahead, and the {10-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{8-Clubs}{j-Spades} runout offered no help to his opponent. Hyatt scooped the pot, putting him firmly amongst the chip leaders, while his opponent headed to the payout desk, wishing the table luck as he left.

Level 26 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

The action was picked up on a board {q-Spades}{q-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{5-Spades}, with a player in the blinds being all in and at risk for his last 125,000 chips, against Lee Vogelsong who had called him preflop.

Vogelsong held {2-Clubs}{2-Spades} and had hit a full house on the flop to send his opponent, who had {a-Clubs}{9-Spades}, to the payout desk.
