Scarber Scoops

Level 9 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

TJ Scarber was heads-up in the cutoff with around 20,000 in the middle and a flop of {k-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{7-Clubs} showing. His opponent in middle position bet, Scarber re-raised and was raised back until they eventually got it all in.

TJ Scarber: {a-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}
Opponent: {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}{10-Clubs}{8-Spades}

The turn was a {6-Hearts} hitting a straight to the eight for the high and with the {a-Hearts} on the river he took the low as well and sent his opponent out of the tournament.

Israelashvilli Takes The High And Low

Level 8 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Roland Israelashvili
Roland Israelashvili

Action was picked up on the flop reading {6-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} between six players including Roland Israelashvilli in late position.

An under the-gun player bet 6,000 and only Israelashvilli called.

The turn rolled off a {k-Spades} and both players checked to the river {10-Spades} where the under the-gun player checked and Israelashvilli bet 15,000. The opponent called and Israelashvilli turned over {8-Clubs}{9-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{3-Spades} for a ten-high straight and an ace-three low which was good to scoop both halves of the pot.

The pot was pushed to Israelashvilli who looked back down towards his computer, playing the WSOP circuit event.

In the last hand before the break the cutoff raised to 1,700 which the button and Nathan Gamble in the big blind both called.

The flop came down {q-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} and Gamble bet 1,700. The cutoff got out of the way and the button re-raised. Gamble and the button re-raised each other until he was all in and cards went up.

Nathan Gamble: {q-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{7-Diamonds}
Opponent: {a-Spades}{q-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{9-Spades}

The turn was a {k-Diamonds} hitting Broadway for the opponent but also was the diamond Gamble needed for his flush draw. On the river came a {k-Clubs} which didn't make much of a difference for either of them and Gamble took the pot down while also getting a double up.
