Kyle Julius Eliminated in 15th Place ($22,327)

Level 27 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Kyle Julius
Kyle Julius

Nacho Barbero raised to 1,150,000, leaving himself only 50,000 behind, as Kyle Julius re-shoved next to act. Barbero committed his last chips when action folded back to him.

Nacho Barbero: {k-Clubs}{10-Clubs}
Kyle Julius: {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}

Barbero was dominated but came from behind on the {9-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{2-Clubs} flop. Julius failed to hit the {2-Hearts}{5-Spades} turn and river and handed over most of his stack.

Julius was knocked down to around 550,000 and was in the big blind a few hands later. Fabiano Kovalski on the button paused for a moment. "I want him to do it," Julius told him as Kovalski eventually folded.

Barbero in the small blind did put Julius all in, which he called holding {a-Spades}{5-Diamonds}. Barbero showed {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}.

The {7-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} flop was safe for Julius, but Barbero again outdrew him as the {k-Spades} came on the turn. The river was the {5-Hearts} and Julius was eliminated just before players went on break.

Julius Only Looks at an Ace

Level 27 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Kyle Julius shoved from the button for his last 780,000 and Maria Ho snap-called in the big blind.

"I only looked at an ace," Julius said, showing {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}.

"That's not good news for me," Ho replied as she turned over {a-Clubs}{3-Spades}.

The board ran out {k-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{4-Clubs} and Julius won the pot with his queen-kicker.

Nikiforov Picks Up Aces to Double

Level 27 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Ilya Nikiforov was all in before the flop for his last 1,600,000 and up against Jon Martinelli.

Ilya Nikiforov: {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts}
Jon Martinelli: {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}

The flop came {q-Spades}{8-Spades}{7-Hearts} and Nikiforov finally sat back in his chair and realized as the {4-Diamonds} on the turn left Martinelli drawing dead. The {5-Clubs} fell on the river and Nikiforov secured a big double up.

Motoki Jinno shoved his last 400,000 in the middle and Maria Ho snap-called.

Motoki Jinnoi: {q-Clubs}{j-Spades}
Maria Ho: {a-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}

Ho made two pair on the {a-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} flop while the {10-Hearts} on the turn gave Jinno a straight draw. He missed the {4-Hearts} river, hitting the rail in 18th place, as Ho improved to a flush.

A few hands later at this table, Martin Raus was all in on a short stack and up against Jon Martinelli. Raus had {a-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} and Martinelli {9-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}.

The board ran out {k-Spades}{10-Hearts}{9-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}, pairing Martinelli's nine and eliminating Raus in 17th.

Paul Chauderson opened to 120,000 from early position and Maria Ho called from the cutoff. Jon Martinelli then moved all in on the button and Andrew Brown called it off out of the small blind. Both Chauderson and Ho got out of the way and Brown was officially at risk.

Andrew Brown: {a-Hearts}{q-Spades}
Jon Martinelli: {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}

Martinelli had Brown dominated and no help came for the at-risk player on the {4-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{2-Hearts} runout, sending Brown to the payout desk in 19th place.

David Mzareulov moved all in from the cutoff and Robert Downs called for his tournament life.

Robert Downs: {7-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}
David Mzareulov: {a-Spades}{k-Hearts}

Mzareulov had a sizable lead over his opponent and maintained that lead on the {5-Spades}{10-Spades}{k-Clubs}{a-Clubs} flop and turn with the river card rendered meaningless. Downs collects $18,625 plus bounties for his 20th place finish.
