Bruno Lopes Eliminated in 22nd Place ($18,625)

Level 23 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Bruno Lopes
Bruno Lopes

In a blind versus blind battle, Bruno Lopes and Paul Chauderson saw a flop of {3-Spades}{8-Clubs}{10-Clubs}. Lopes, in the big blind, moved all in for 700,000.

"Call," Chauderson yelled, slamming down {a-Clubs}{9-Clubs} on the table. Lopes showed {j-Spades}{10-Diamonds} for top pair.

The {8-Hearts} on the turn was no help to Chauderson, but he completed his flush on the {2-Clubs} river to bust the popular French rapper known as Kool Shen in 22nd place.

Ivan Deyra Eliminated in 23rd Place ($18,625)

Level 23 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Ivan Deyra
Ivan Deyra

Ivan Deyra shoved for his last 300,000 from under the gun and Rob Hollink called in the hijack.

Ivan Deyra: {k-Spades}{10-Spades}
Rob Hollink: {a-Diamonds}{3-Spades}

The {3-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{10-Hearts} flop gave Hollink trip threes as Deyra, already drawing thin, got up to leave. The board ran out {9-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} and the Dutchman took Deyra's bounty chip.

J.C. Tran Eliminated in 24th Place ($18,625)

Level 23 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
JC Tran
JC Tran

J.C. Tran moved all in for his last 105,000 before Maria Ho re-raised to 200,000. The rest of the table got out of the way and they went heads-up.

J.C. Tran: {q-Spades}{4-Hearts}
Maria Ho: {k-Spades}{j-Diamonds}

Ho hit a king on the {5-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{9-Spades} flop and gave her a big lead. Tran failed to catch any runner-runner miracles on the {3-Hearts}{9-Hearts} run out to bust in 24th place.

Leonard Maue Eliminated in 26th Place ($18,625), Michael Mizrachi Eliminated in 25th Place ($18,625)

Level 23 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Michael Mizrachi
Michael Mizrachi

Maria Ho opened to 100,000 from late position and Leonard Maue moved all in from the small blind. Michael Mizrachi called out of the big blind, at which point Ho attempted to re-jam but was informed by the floor that the raise by the all in player was not sufficient to re-open the action. Ho instead called.

Mizrachi shoved on a flop of {6-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} and Ho snap called to put both opponents at risk.

Leonard Maue: {4-Clubs}{4-Spades}
Michael Mizrachi: {6-Spades}{4-Diamonds}
Maria Ho: {k-Clubs}{k-Spades}

Ho was well in the lead and looked set for the double knockout. The {9-Clubs} turn and {8-Clubs} river changed nothing, sending Maue and Mizrachi to the rail while lifting Ho's stack up above 2,000,000.

Elsewhere, Vasil Medarov was eliminated in 27th place, a result good for $15,386.

Hollink Narrows the Field

Level 23 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

After Nacho Barbero raised to 85,000, Rob Hollink shoved in the small blind and the player in the big blind called all in for less. Barbero got out of the way.

All-In Player: {a-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}
Rob Hollink: {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}

Both players ended up with a pair of aces on a board of {10-Hearts}{8-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}, but Hollink's queen-kicker was enough to earn the bounty chip.

The remaining 27 players are now redrawing for seats at the final three tables.

Martinelli Makes Quads

Level 23 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Jon Martinelli was all in for around 450,000 and up against Bruno Lopes.

Jon Martinelli: {a-Spades}{7-Hearts}
Bruno Lopes: {a-Clubs}{q-Spades}

Martinelli was dominated before the {6-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} flop gave him trip sevens. The {7-Spades} on the turn improved him to quads as he doubled up following the meaningless {6-Hearts} on the river.

Barbero Makes Big Call For Tournament Life

Level 23 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Heads-up on a flop of {10-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}, Nacho Barbero tossed in a bet of 100,000 before a player in the big blind shoved all in.

Barbero went into the tank for a few moments before emerging with a call for his last 475,000, showing {j-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} for top pair. His opponent had {9-Diamonds}{8-Spades} for a straight draw.

The board ran out {a-Clubs}{5-Spades} and Barbero doubled up to around 1,000,000.
