Alexander Triples Up

Level 30 : 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

James Alexander raised to 400,000 from early position and was called by the player in the cutoff. The button moved all in for 3350000 and when action went back to Alexander, he moved all in for 3,250,000 and the other player called them both.

James Alexander: {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}
Button: {9-Spades}{9-Clubs}
Cutoff: {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}

The board ran out {8-Clubs}{10-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} and Alexander's aces-up was good enough for him to take a gigantic pot, but no bounties as he was covered by both players.

"Yes!" shouted Nathan Gamble.

Gamble wasn't it in a hand, he was excited about the gold chest that Steven Mccartney had just hit.

Mccartney, sitting one table over, was headed to the chest for one of the bigger prizes.

"I've got five percent," said Gamble amicably.

Mccartney pulled the $25,000 ticket, though they were rooting for more. They may have a few more tries too.

Gamble is still sitting strong with more than four million, while Mccartney has about double that and is one of the chip leaders with 112 players left.

Daniel Negreanu has had a disappointing 2022 World Series of Poker, and that didn't change on Day 1c of the Main Event, but he did receive a good luck charm from one player on the rail, so there's that.

A wholesome moment took place Tuesday evening inside Bally's when Arash Shahi, a fellow Canadian from Toronto, approached the GGPoker ambassador who was seated at his table during the $10,000 buy-in world championship event.
