GGPoker Launches Poker Integrity Council to Blacklist Cheaters

Level 28 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

GGPoker has informed PokerNews that the online poker giant is launching a Poker Integrity Council (PIC) to help put a stop to rampant cheating within the game.

The council includes five well-respected members, and not all are connected to GGPoker. Jason Koon and Fedor Holz (GGPoker), Andrew "LuckyChewy" Lichtenberger (LearnWPT), Seth Davies (Run it Once), and Nick Petrangelo (Upswing Poker) have been selected to help fix one of poker's biggest problems — cheating.

Semeghini Scores Triple Knockout

Level 28 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

A massive pot was brewing just before dinner.

Two players were already all-in on the {9-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} flop and the big blind shoved for 1,120,000.

Rodrigo Semeghini called to put all three players at risk with his big stack.

Cutoff: {a-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}
Early Position: {q-Spades}{10-Spades}
Big Blind: {q-Clubs}{9-Hearts}
Rodrigo Semeghini: {6-Diamonds}{6-Spades}

Semeghini had flopped a set of sixes and was in a dominant position to win the pot. The turn {j-Hearts} and river {5-Spades} provided no help to the shorter stacks and Semeghini pulled into the apparent chip lead with three bounties.

Glantz dug through a chest full of envelopes, all with mystery cash prizes ranging from $1,000 to $1 million, most on the low end, and only one person would go home with the grand prize.
