Kashat Makes a Big Call Against Urbanovich

Level 22 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Firas Kashat
Firas Kashat

Facing a pot-sized bet of 495,000 from Dzmitry Urbanovich on a river board of {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}, Firas Kashat bemoaned his decision, then said he had to call, thinking he was beat, but couldn't lay down his hand.

Urbanovich showed {k-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} for king-high with a missed straight draw on the turn.

Kashat rolled over {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{8-Clubs} for the nut full house, but he was obviously fearful, then relieved that his opponent didn't have the last ten for quads.

Zerkal Doubles; Leonard Chips Up

Level 22 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Lev Zerkal was all-in after the flop with the {a-Clubs}{8-Spades}{7-Spades}{5-Spades} and eventually turned a wheel on the {10-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} board. While his seat open was initially announced, the wheel was good as Iakov Onuchin only had the {j-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{5-Clubs} for two pair.

Soon after, a three-way flop showed {j-Spades}{8-Spades}{4-Diamonds} flop that got checked to Onuchin on the button. He bet 175,000 and Tony Lewis called in the small blind, as did Patrick Leonard in a middling position. They checked the {7-Spades} turn and {3-Spades} river for Leonard to win the pair with the {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{4-Spades} for a flush.

Onuchin Bad Beats Lewis for a Double

Level 22 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

In a preflop four-bet pot with 700,000 each invested, Iakov Onuchin had 175,000 behind and got those essentially in in the dark. Toby Lewis called after the {a-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} flop and the cards were revealed.

Iakov Onuchin: {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}
Toby Lewis: {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{6-Clubs}

Lewis not only had the dominating ace but also the club flush draw. However, it was Onuchin who improved to a flush thanks to the {2-Diamonds} turn and {k-Diamonds} river runout.

Russell Eliminates Baumstein

Level 22 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Scott Baumstein
Scott Baumstein

On a {4-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} flop, Michael Russell checked to Scott Baumstein who bet 285,000 into a pot of just over 300,000. Russell took his time and then check-raised to put Baumstein in for approximately 450,000.

Baumstein called to put his tournament life at risk.

Scott Baumstein: {a-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{5-Hearts}
Michael Russell: {k-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{q-Spades}{2-Diamonds}

Baumstein's sixes were caught behind Russell's kings, and after the {8-Spades}{4-Hearts} runout, Russell held to eliminate Baumstein.

Le Jams Into Duek

Level 22 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Allan Le limped the cutoff and then called a pot-sized raise to 165,000 by the table big stack Michael Duek on the button. The {q-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{6-Clubs} flop was checked by Le and he then called a bet worth 50,000 by Duek. Both checked the {2-Hearts} turn and the {4-Diamonds} followed on the river.

Le now moved all-in for approximately 250,000 and Duek instantly folded.

Coleman's Spin Continues

Level 22 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
David Coleman
David Coleman

After spinning up a single T-5,000 chip yesterday to make it into today's field, the incredible comeback of David Coleman is continuing.

He recently got his last 400,000 or so chips in on the flop against Xunen Zheng, and again has lived to tell about it.

David Coleman: {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{6-Diamonds}
Xunen Zheng: {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{9-Clubs}

Coleman's kings were behind Zheng's aces, but as he did once on Day 2, he found one of his side cards on the river in the {7-Clubs} to snatch the pot away from Zheng and double up yet again.

More for Lewis and Adams

Level 22 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Toby Lewis raised the pot and was called by Patrick Leonard out of the blinds, who then check-folded to the pot-sized bet of Lewis on the {j-Spades}{9-Spades}{3-Diamonds} flop.

"It is hard not to make a gutshot," Leonard sighed and then added shortly after "I folded king-eight-seven-six" ... for a gutshot, which other players at the table immediately remarked.

At nearly the same time, Brandon Adams raised and called a three-bet to 270,000 by Xunen Zheng in the cutoff. They checked the {q-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{j-Spades} flop and Adams bet the {10-Diamonds} turn for 175,000, Zheng quickly folded with the words "nice hand".

Kallabat Doubles Through Adams

Level 22 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

With 90,000 each invested in a battle of the blinds, the flop came {k-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} and that's when the chips went in between Thair Kallabat and Brandon Adams with the former at risk.

Thair Kallabat: {q-Hearts}{q-Spades}{j-Hearts}{8-Spades}
Brandon Adams: {j-Spades}{9-Spades}{8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}

The {a-Clubs} turn and {5-Hearts} river ensured for the kicker to play and Kallabat celebrated the double-up, leaving Adams short once more.
