De Almeida Finds Some Run Good Early Against Calamusa

Level 11 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
De Almeida Brothers
De Almeida Brothers

Daniel De Almeida was all in preflop for his last 20,000 and Pierre Calamusa had him at risk.

Daniel De Almeida: {a-Spades}{j-Hearts}
Pierre Calamusa: {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}

Calamusa was in front with the better kicker, but the {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} flop gave De Almeida aces and jacks for the lead. The {5-Hearts}{7-Hearts} runout sealed the pot and he doubled up.

De Almeida is coming off an eighth-place finish in the Million Dollar Bounty event for $96,000. He also took home more than $130,000 in bounties from that tournament as well. His brother Caio also went deep in that tourney with a 23rd-place finish. A fantastic result for the brothers from Brazil.
