flop, Abrams bet 200,000 and was called by Nguyen.
Nguyen then called a bet of 425,000 from Abrams on the 
turn.
After the 
fell on the river, Abrams didn't hesitate to cut out a bet of 1,600,000, which after a brief pause, Nguyen folded to, sending a healthy pot to Abrams, who remains in the race for the chip lead.

Level 11 of the 2022 World Series of Poker Main Event was unkind to 888poker ambassador Sam Abernathy, who lost a brutal bad beat to exit poker's world championship event.
During the first level of Day 3, with around 110,000 in chips and the blinds at 1,000/2,500, Abernathy picked up 
and was poised to earn a valuable double-up, perhaps putting her in position to make a run at the money, and then potentially deeper as the tournament progressed. But her opponent, Mike Gao, also had 
, so a chop pot seemed inevitable.

Men Nguyen bet from under the gun and Erickson called to go all in for 220,000 from middle position. Barny Boatman in the small blind and Scott Abrams in the big blind also called.
The three players still with cards and a stack in front of them checked until the river where the board read 
. Nguyen bet and Boatman made the fold. Abrams pondered for a while before eventually folding.

Erickson turned over his cards hoping to get half the pot with the nut low. But to his amazement, his pocket queens were good enough to take the high pot leaving Erickson flabbergasted that he quadrupled up. "Put that in the record books!" yelled Erickson.

Men Nguyen has been eliminated from the tournament in stunning fashion following a massive 1-2 combo punch from Scott Abrams and Peter Neff.
First, Abrams raised pot to 240,000 in the small blind and was called by Nguyen in the big blind.
Abrams then check-called a bet of 400,000 from Nguyen on the 
flop.
On the 
turn, Abrams checked again, then after a pot-sized bet of 1,360,000 from Nguyen, Abrams moved all in, with Nguyen holding a bit over 1,700,000 behind.
Nguyen frustratedly folded to preserve his stack.
On the very next hand however, Nguyen raised the pot (240,000) from the small blind and was called by Neff in the big blind.
Nguyen quickly potted the 
flop and Neff then moved all in for the rest of Nguyen's stack. The seven-time bracelet winner called and was shockingly at risk.

After the dealer dropped the on the river, Nguyen's two pair of aces and nines were second best to Neff's aces and jacks, and in two fell swoops, Nguyen went from four million chips to zero and was headed to the payout window.

The PokerNews reporting team isn't sure what the players at the final table had to eat during their dinner break, but whatever it was, it's led to them firing away with some huge pots.
The latest saw Scott Abrams raise to 200,000 in the cutoff, then Peter Neff call on the button, before Barny Boatman made it 800,000 to go from the big blind.
Both opponents called and over 2,400,000 was already in the pot.
The players all checked the 
flop, but on the turn, Boatman moved all in for his last 1,850,000. Abrams quickly folded, but Neff had a decision.
After a couple of minutes of deliberation, he called to risk a huge portion of the stack he'd just won by eliminating Men Nguyen.

Boatman's two pair of kings and queens were the best made hand, but Neff had a massive wrap, flush, and low draws.
