With 6,000 in the pot and a board of 
showing, California's Dave Johnson bet 1,300 from the cutoff and received a call from Stelen Stulberger on the button.
The 
river had Johnson betting 4,200 and the button contemplated for a while before deciding to fold. Johnson showed 
for a set he hit on the turn that filled up on the river.
With 4,000 in the middle and 
fanned on the felt, James Dempsey was facing a 1,500 bet from the player in the small blind. Dempsey called to see the turn.

The Mattress Mack Poker Stallions is a Texas based group who has been seen around the WSOP playing in multiple events. Stephen Baze is one of the members and early into Level 3 he raised to 800 from the hijack and received two calls.
The board came down 
and the big blind checked to Baze who bet 1,100. The cutoff folded and the big blind decided to stick around to see the turn.

The 
on the river slowed Baze down and had both players checking. Baze flipped over to show a flopped two pair that got counterfeited by the ace on the river but his hand still held to take down the pot as his opponent folded.

On the river, Vyas continued on with a 2,500 bet which the button once again called. Vyas showed 
for top pair, king kicker and that was good as his opponent tossed his cards into the muck.
Norway's Thor William Morstoel is off to a strong start with already over 100,000. In the last hand before the break, with a board of 
showing, Morstoel was on the button and action was checked to him. He bet 1,000 and received a call from the hijack.
The 
river was once again checked to Morstoel who bet another 2,000 and received a call. Morstoel showed 
and the pair of nines he caught on the river took down the pot.
The players have just been sent on their first 20-minute break of the day and blinds will be 300/600/600 when they return. There are currently 669 entries in the tournament.
