On the last hand before a brief 10-minute break, action was on the turn as the board read {k-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{8-Spades}. From the big blind, Jinho Hong led for 1,050,000 into a pot of around 1,230,000. Punnat Punsri called under the gun to build the pot larger.

The river came the {a-Spades}. Hong checked it. Punsri thought for quite a while before announcing a bet of 1,350,000. Hong thought for about 20 seconds before he folded and Punsri took the commanding chip lead.

Weinman Finds River to Double

Level 28 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Action was picked up on the flop as it read {k-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{10-Diamonds}. Daniel Weinman checked in the big blind, Yuri Dzivielevski then min-bet 100,000 and Weinman jammed all in which Dzivielevski called quickly.

Dzivielevski had the lead with the {q-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} while Weinman had the {q-Hearts}{j-Clubs} draw.

The turn was no use as the {3-Clubs} came off but the river was the very useful {9-Clubs} and Weinman gathered in a key double.

Dov Markowich moved all in preflop but then Punnat Punsri reshoved for much more right behind, forcing the other players to get out of the way. The cards were tabled with Markowich's tournament life at risk.

Dov Markowich: {8-Clubs}{8-Spades}
Punnat Punsri: {q-Spades}{q-Hearts}

"Well looks like I need a couple of red eights," said Markowich as he realized he was behind Punsri's queens.

The board ran out {5-Hearts}{6-Spades}{3-Clubs}{a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds} for Punsri's pocket queens to hold and sent Markowich to the rail in ninth place.

"Hey at least I made the official final table, that's all I wanted!" Markowich announced as he headed to the payout desk for $20,814.

Punsri Blasts Away on River

Level 27 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

In a limped pot preflop, three players saw a flop of {2-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{5-Spades}. Yuri Dzivielevski checked from the small blind and George Rotariu did the same from the big blind, but then Punnat Punsri made a bet of 200,000 that saw Dzivielevski fold and Rotariu call.

The turn was the {q-Diamonds} and both players checked to the river {3-Diamonds}.

Rotariu checked once more and then Punsri shipped it all in, covering Rotariu.

After a few moments he decided to let it go and the pot was pushed Punsr's way.
