Michael Kelly: {5-Hearts}{3-Hearts}

Robert Pisel Eliminated in 11th Place ($20,891)

Level 35 : Blinds 250,000/500,000, 500,000 ante
Robert Pisel
Robert Pisel

Robert Pisel in the cutoff was heads-up on a flop against Gary Whitehead, Whitehead in the big blind after a min-raise from Pisel and call from Whitehead.

The flop of {7-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} was check-called by Whitehead. On the {k-Hearts} turn, Whitehead once again checked. Pisel then fired all in and Whitehead snapped him off.

Robert Pisel: {6-Spades}{7-Spades}
Gary Whitehead: {10-Spades}{7-Hearts}

It was a huge cooler as both players flopped trips. The {8-Hearts} completed the board as Pisel mistakingly celebrated, thinking it was a chop, when in fact Whitehead's ten played, sending Pisel to the rail in 11th.

Truong Bad Beats Alsup in Huge Pot

Level 34 : Blinds 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante

Patrick Truong raised to 800,000 from the cutoff and Richard Alsup called in the big blind.

The flop came {q-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} and Truong continued for 550,000. Alsup called.

The {6-Spades} was the turn pairing the board. Alsup checked to Truong who tanked for a while before betting 1,300,000. Alsup wasn't budging and made the call.

The river was the {3-Clubs} and Alsup checked. Truong again went deep into the tank before betting 4,000,000. Alsup called. It was a bad beat as Truong turned over {j-Clubs}{j-Spades} for a full house while Alsup had turned trip sixes. The pot put Truong in a commanding position and left Alsup with significantly less chips.
