Chidwick Eliminates Koon

Level 11 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Jason Koon
Jason Koon

Jason Koon moved all in from middle position for his last 225,000 and was called by Stephen Chidwick in the cutoff.

Jason Koon: {k-Spades}{j-Diamonds}
Stephen Chidwick: {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}

Koon was behind but did have two live cards. He was unable to come from behind, however, on the {9-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{2-Spades} runout, sending him to the rail late in the day.

Petrangelo Doubles Again

Level 11 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Nick Petrangelo has found himself all in and at risk several times already but on each occasion has managed to survive. Wesley Fei opend from middle position and Petrangelo moved all in from the cutoff. Fei made the call to put Petrangelo at risk.

Nick Petrangelo: {j-Spades}{10-Clubs}
Wesley Fei: {j-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}

Petrangelo had his opponent dominated and was in a good spot to score the double. The {7-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{k-Spades} flop kept Petrangelo ahead but did give Fei a gutshot. It did not come in on the {7-Spades} turn or {q-Diamonds} river, ensuring Petrangelo gets to keep his seat a while longer.

Level 11 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Punnat Punsri raised to 40,000 from under the gun and Brek Schutten three-bet to 115,000 from the early position. The action folded back to Punsri who four-bet to 250,000 for Schutten to fold.

Level 11 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Bleznick Gone

Level 11 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Jared Bleznick
Jared Bleznick

Jared Bleznick enjoyed a red-hot start to the day but regressed significantly in recent levels. Eventually, he found himself all in and at risk in the big blind against Bryn Kenney from early position.

Jared Bleznick: {a-Diamonds}{j-Spades}
Bryn Kenney: {2-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}

Bleznick was flipping for his tournament life but had one foot out the door following the {2-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{j-Clubs} flop. The {7-Diamonds} turn ended matters prior to the meaningless {j-Hearts} river. Eric Wasserson, who was seated at the table at the time, was eager to inform PokerNews that Bleznick had just lost three flips in a row to bring his tournament to a close.

Seidel Bests Viera

Level 10 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

Erik Seidel opened to 35,000 from under the gun and was faced with a three-bet to 110,000 by Joao Vieira in middle position. Action folded back around to Seidel, who chose to call to send the two players heads-up to the flop.

On the {9-Spades}{k-Clubs}{q-Spades} flop Seidel checked and then called when Viera continued for 90,000.

Both players checked through the {a-Hearts} turn to the {7-Hearts} river where Seidel took over the betting lead, firing off 225,000. Viera seemed tempted to call but eventually thought better of it and mucked his holding.

Level 10 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

The flop read {j-Spades}{6-Clubs}{3-Clubs} and Yong Wang was all in for 145,000 from the hijack in a four-way pot. Martin Kabrhel was the only one to make the call.

Yong Wang: {7-Spades}{7-Clubs}
Martin Kabrhel: {j-Hearts}{8-Hearts}

The rest of the board was completed with the {2-Clubs} on the turn and the {9-Clubs} on the river for Wang to hit the runner-runner flush to double up and beat Kabrhel's top pair.

"Nice hand, well played," Kabrhel commented. "Especially on the river."
