Gluszko Regains Chip Lead

Level 29

Limit Hold'em

With the blinds and antes now so high, each pot has the potential to be massive. Case in point is a recent clash between Tomasz Gluszko and Roberto Marin.

Marin raised the small blind and Gluszko called in the big blind.

On the {9-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{3-Clubs} flop, Marin bet and was raised by Gluszko. Marin called, then checked the {a-Diamonds} turn. Gluszko bet and was now check-raised by Marin. Gluszko opted to call and the {9-Spades} fell on the river. He then bet and was quickly called by Marin.

Gluszko told his rail to make some noise as he turned over {9-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} for rivered trip nines, which he needed, as Marin showed {a-Hearts}{7-Spades} for a defeated top pair on the turn.
