After an abrupt end to Day 2, there were 45 players who bagged up their stacks for a possible return for Day 3. It was not the sort of ending that many would have liked to a successful 2022 World Series of Poker held for the first year at Bally's and Paris Las Vegas.

However, the action for Day 3 is scheduled to resume at 12 p.m. noon for Event #86: $10,000 6-Handed No-Limit Hold'em Championship. While the tournament is slightly behind schedule as of now, the plan is to try and play down to as close to a winner as possible. It could be a long day for the remaining 45 players but a WSOP gold bracelet is still up for grabs.

As last recorded, Daniel Rezaei currently held a slight chip lead with around 1,100,000 chips. Rezaei was currently slotted at the same table as Pavel Plesuv (1,090,000) who was the second biggest stack at the time. Some other big stacks in the tournament belonged to Winimax pros Romain Lewis and Pierre Calamusa.

The players just reached the money before the dinner break with 60 places being paid. Upon return, each player will have locked up at least $17,500 but the big pay jumps were yet to come. When all is said and done, the winner will be walking away with $824,649 and the coveted gold bracelet.

Keep it tuned in here as the PokerNews live reporting team will have any and all updates as Day 3 begins to unfold.
