Green Lays it Down

Level 11 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

In a heads-up pot worth around 50,000, the flop was {9-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{10-Spades} when Brian Green in the big blind led out for 13,000.

His opponent in the cutoff, Oliver Bosch, immediately moved all in for 48,500, and sent Green into the tank.

After several minutes of deliberation, Green reluctantly let it go and the pot was pushed Bosch's way.

Gathy Gets Turned to the Rail

Level 11 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Aram Oganyan opened to 5,500 in the hijack and Michael Gathy pushed all in for 15,000 on the button. Zak Lawson reraised to 30,000 from the big blind and Oganyan responded by shoving all in as the big stack. Lawson thought for well over a minute but decided to lay his hand down.

Michael Gathy: {k-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}
Aram Oganyan: {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}

The flop fell {j-Hearts}{10-Spades}{7-Spades} and Gathy took the lead with a pair of tens. However, the {a-Hearts} landed on the turn and Oganyan took control with a pair of aces. The {8-Spades} on the river was a brick and Gathy was eliminated.

Level 12 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Seth Davies raised to 5,000 on the button and Vikenty Shegal raised in the small blind to 20,000. Davies then quickly moved all in for 53,500 and Shegal called, putting Davies at risk.

Seth Davies: {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts}
Vikenty Shegal: {a-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}

The board ran out {3-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{10-Spades}{5-Spades}{q-Spades} which gave Davies a set of tens to scoop the pot for a double up.

Updated Chip Counts

Level 12 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Jaffee Counterfeits Wang

Level 12 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Jared Jaffee raised it up from under the gun and Yang Wang defended from the big blind. The flop came {q-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{8-Clubs} and Wang checked to Jaffee who continued for 6,000. Wang check-raised to 18,500 and Jaffee called.

The turn brought the {7-Spades} and Wang fired out a bet of 38,500. Jaffee still called and the {q-Clubs} paired the board on the river. Both players checked and Wang tabled {10-Clubs}{8-Spades} for a counterfeit two pair. Jaffee showed {10-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} and his nine played to take down the pot.

Plesuv Gets Max Value with Second Pair

Level 12 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

On a completed board of {6-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{q-Spades}{a-Clubs}, Nikita Kuznetcov checked his action over to his heads-up opponent, Pavel Plesuv, who then bet 63,000 into the already swollen pot of 100,000.

This sent Kuznetcov deep into the tank, and after several minutes the clock was called on him for a 30-second countdown. As his clock reached zero, he decided to make the call at the last possible second and was shown {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} by Plesuv which apparently was enough to win the huge pot.

"Yeah I put you on seven-eight," Plesuv told him, but did not get much of a response from Kuznetcov.

Foxen Shoves the River

Level 12 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Kristen Foxen raised to 6,000 on the button and Andjelko Andrejevic called from the big blind. The flop came {q-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{6-Clubs} and Andrejevic check-called a bet of 8,000 from Foxen.

The turn brought the {2-Spades} and Andrejevic checked again. Foxen tossed in a bet of 13,000 and Andrejevic stuck around to see the {a-Diamonds} on the river. After a third check, Foxen ripped all in, putting Andrejevic to the test for his remaining 42,000 chips. After a couple of minutes, he finally folded and Foxen raked in the pot.

Big Flop for Tice Leads to Double

Level 12 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Landon Tice
Landon Tice

Landon Tice got all of his 56,500 chips into the middle preflop and Yang Wang called, which put Tice at risk of elimination.

Landon Tice: {10-Diamonds}{10-Spades}
Yang Wang: {j-Clubs}{j-Hearts}

Tice was way behind, but the flop of {9-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} quickly changed things as it gave him middle set of tens, however it also gave Wang an open-ended straight draw.

But the board completed with the {2-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} and Tice held for a double up.
