Rast Flips Schumacher to the Rail

Level 13 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Yannick Schumacher open-shipped all in for 45,000 from under the gun and Brian Rast called from the cutoff. The rest of the table folded and the two hands were tabled.

Yannick Schumacher: {9-Spades}{9-Clubs}
Brian Rast: {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}

The flop came {k-Spades}{q-Spades}{8-Clubs} and Rast took the lead with a pair of queens. The {7-Spades} on the turn gave Schumacher the lone flush draw but the {3-Clubs} on the river was a brick, sending him home.

Paur Gets a Lucky Double from Lewis

Level 13 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Taylor Paur open-shipped all in for 46,000 in the cutoff and Toby Lewis called on the button. The blinds folded and the two hands were tabled face up.

Taylor Paur: {j-Spades}{10-Spades}
Toby Lewis: {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}

Lewis was in a dominating lead and the flop of {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} even gave him a royal flush draw. However, the {a-Diamonds} on the turn made Paur a straight and Lewis was unable to catch up on the {j-Clubs} river.

Rezaei Calls Down Theologis

Level 14 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Daniel Rezaei opened to 11,000 on the button and was called by Alexandros Theologis and Pavel Plesuv in the blinds. The flop came {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} and the action checked around to the {5-Spades} on the turn.

Theologis led out with a bet of 13,000 which got Plesuv to fold but Rezaei stuck around for the {7-Hearts} on the river. Theologis sized up another bet of 33,000 and Rezaei looked him up. Theologis showed {10-Clubs}{9-Clubs} for a missed straight and flush draw while Rezaei showed {a-Spades}{5-Hearts} for two pair.

Mateos Value Bets River; Now Chipleader

Level 14 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

On a completed board of {9-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{8-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}, Adrian Mateos bet 60,000 into his heads-up opponent Yang Wang.

After a considerable amount of thinking, counting his chips, and thinking again, Wang set out a few chips to call.

He was then shown {9-Hearts}{7-Clubs} for two pair, and Wang mucked. Mateos scooped in the pot and his chip stack climbed to the top of the leaderboards with 675,000.

Jensen Knocks Out Padilha

Level 14 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Gregory Jensen raised it up on the button and Pedro Padilha three-bet shoved all in for around 200,000 in the small blind. Jensen called and they were off to the races.

Pedro Padilha: {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}
Gregory Jensen: {6-Hearts}{6-Clubs}

The flop of {8-Spades}{3-Spades}{3-Clubs} left Jensen in the lead with his pair of sixes. The {2-Clubs} on the turn and the {4-Hearts} on the river were no help to Padilha who was eliminated.
