Ace-King Versus Ace-King Ends in Knockout

Level 5 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

A player got his last 8,000 in the middle and was up against Japanese bracelet winner Naoya Kihara. The all-in player showed {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}, while Kihara showed the same hand {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}.

The {3-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} flop meant Kihara was on a freeroll toward a flush, which he got closer to completing on the {2-Diamonds} turn. The river came the {4-Diamonds} and Kihara made his flush to eliminate his opponent.

"Good hand," the busted player said, taking the bad beat in stride and still smiling as he made his exit.
