Thornton Wins at Table Full of Main Event Experience

Level 4 : 300/500, 500 ante

Andrew Ostapchenko raised to 1,500 from the cutoff and was called by Mitchell Halverson on the button and big blind Schuyler Thornton.

All three players checked the {2-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{5-Hearts} flop before Thornton led out for 3,500 on the {8-Spades} turn.

Only Ostapchenko called to see the {4-Hearts} on the river. Thornton bet another 4,500 and Ostapchenko quickly folded.

This table is full of players who have made deep Main Event runs in the past. Halverson was 15th last year, while Ostapchenko was 33rd in 2017. Robin Hegele, who made the final three tables that same year, is also seated here.
