Begleiter Holding Steady

Level 12 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Steven Begleiter, who finished 6th in the 2009 WSOP Main Event for a career high $1,587,160, entered the day as a relative big stack with 319,500. He has not gotten off to an ideal start on Day 3, however, slipping down the counts to below average.

Begleiter opened to 6,500 from middle position and was called by Michael Morton out of the small blind.

Morton checked on a flop of {7-Spades}{7-Clubs}{10-Hearts} and Begleiter continued for 6,500. It was enough to force Morton out of the hand and help Begleiter start to reverse his downward trend.
