Garcia Makes Good Call Against Eskandari

Level 11 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Action was joined with around 100,000 already in the pot and a complete board of {8-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{3-Spades} having been dealt.

Massoud Eskandari, fresh off his first career bracelet in the Super Seniors Event, moved all in from under the gun, putting Justin Garcia at risk, should he make the call. Garcia, in the cutoff was the only one left to act. He had around 80,000 behind. He tanked for a bit, before eventually making the call.

"Good call," Eskandari told him immediately, turning over {k-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} for bottom two pair. Garcia flipped over {7-Hearts}{7-Spades}, for the better two pair, earning himself the pot and double up.

Diaz Takes the Wheel

Level 11 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

On a heads up turn board of {3-Spades}{k-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{2-Hearts} Hai Le in the cutoff checked to David Diaz on the button, who then bet 30,000. Le called and the two players saw the river {10-Spades}.

This time Le led into DIaz for just 5,000, but Diaz then raised to 64,000- leaving one 25,000 chip behind.

After some thought, Le moved all in and Diaz snap called. Le showed {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts} for top pair top kicker but it was no good against Diaz's {a-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} for a turned Wheel straight for the nuts.

Carlton Wounds Croffut With Set

Level 11 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

The board read {q-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} and all the chips got in the middle as Adam Croffut had the {a-}{q-} but was well behind the {10-Clubs}{10-Spades} set of Donny Carlton.

The river did improve Croffut as the {a-Diamonds} came off. But it was not enough and Carlton gathered the critical double up and Croffut was left with a shorter stack.

Zack Doubles Through Fraser

Level 11 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

With the board reading {4-Hearts}{10-Spades}{5-Hearts} and about 48,000 in the pot, Zack led out for 15,000. Fraser took some time before making the call to send the two players to the turn.

Prahl Doubles Up Through Kenney

Level 11 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

The details of this hand were relayed to PokerNews after the fact by Keith Prahl.

Bryn Kenney opened to 6,000 from middle position. Keith Prahl, in the small blind, made the call.

The rainbow {q-}{6-}{2-} flop hit the table. Then, the dealer fumbled the deck, exposing approximately half the cards remaining in the deck. The floor was called over and ultimately ruled that the deck would be reshuffled and the hand would continue. After the reshuffle, Kenney fired for another 6,000. Prahl put in a raise to 15,000 and Kenney called.

The {k-Diamonds} hit the felt on the turn and Kenney checked over to Prahl, who jammed. Kenney snap called with Prahl covered.

Keith Prahl: {6-}{6-}
Bryn Kenney: {a-}{k-}

Prahl was ahead with his set of sixes, and they held through the river, giving him the pot and doubling his stack.
