Level 26 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Dan Smith
Dan Smith

Zilong Zhang, with {q-Clubs}{4-Clubs}, opened to 120,000 and was called by Dan Smith in the big blind with {a-Spades}{2-Diamonds}.

Smith check-called bets of 85,000 and 225,000 to have the board show the {a-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}.

Smith checked again and Zhang went into the tank. He eventually settled on a jam to put the action on his opponent.

Smith asked Zhang what he thought he held and while Zhang was trying to conjure up a response, he called to scoop the pot.

Straight Over Straight Favors Lievano

Level 26 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

On a flop of {q-Spades}{10-Hearts}{8-Spades}, both Antonio Lievano and Gerald Morrell each stuck in 475,000 to see the {j-Clubs} on the turn.

Morrell checked to Lievano who dropped in a bet of 875,000. Morrell called and the {4-Spades} completed the board. Morrell checked again and Lievano reluctantly checked it back.

Morrell turned over {9-Spades}{7-Diamonds} for a queen-high straight but Lievano held {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs} for an ace-high straight.

Blazevich Jams River

Level 26 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

A player in late position opened to 160,000 and was called by Cameron Blazevich on the button as well as the big blind.

Action checked to the late position player on the {q-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{4-Spades} flop and he continued for 500,000. Blazevich called while the big blind folded to generate heads-up action heading to the turn.

The late position player did not slow down after the {6-Diamonds} turn, instead firing off 1,000,000. That bet was not enough to get rid of Blazevich, who again called.

The river came {j-Diamonds} and the late position player checked. Blazevich moved all in, sending his opponent into the tank. It took some time but eventually the late position player opted to fold, sending a large pot Blazevich's way.
