Gibbs Finds a Full Double With Jacks
Level 19
: Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Action folded to Michael Gibbs in the cutoff who open-shoved for 313,000. The button folded to Wade Warren in the small blind who called, prompting a fold from the big blind.
Michael Gibbs: J♥J♦
Wade Warren: AxKx
The flop of A♠7♣3♦ looked good for Warren, but the J♣ turn gave Gibbs a set. An inconsequential 2♠ fell on the river giving Gibbs a full double.
After the hand, a player at the other end of the table stated that he folded the J♠, so it looks like Gibbs caught his one and only out on the turn for a huge double.
