Preflop Saul Andrade raised from middle position where it folded around to the big blind who called the raise.

The board came A♣6♥A♠. Playing in flow the big blind checked to Andrade who continuation bet for 4,000 to which the big blind called.

The turn came the Q♣ prompting the big blind to check again as Andrade continued to bet 28,000 putting his opponent all in. With a quick fold Andrade claimed this pot.

Vashon Smith opened in late position to 2,400 and was called by the player in the cutoff. On a flop of Q♣5♦7♣, Smith check-called a bet from the cutoff player of 2,000 before seeing the 10♠ fall on the turn. Smith checked again to see the cutoff player put out another bet, this time for 3,500. Smith responded with a check-raise to 13,500, forcing his opponent into a short tank. After a brief moment, the player in the cutoff sent his cards into the muck and Smith took the pot down.

Elsewhere in the room, Richard Book is one of many players crossing over the six figure chip count milestone sitting on 105,000.

The event's fourth-place finisher from a year ago, Shaun Colquhoun was just seen standing up and leaving the tournament area. He was kind enough to share the details of his demise with PokerNews.

Colquhoun said after significant multiway action preflop, a player moved all in for 65,000, and Colquhoun called off his 20,000 chip stack with 10x10x. His opponent held AxQx and flopped an ace to end Colquhoun's day.

Elsewhere, Herbie Teope's day is done as well as the field begins to thin significantly as the total number of entries approaches a record-setting number.

Three players had seen a flop on 8♣4♠6♣ with Arthur Ho already all-in and PokerNews' Chad Holloway was at a decision facing another all-in from John McAvoy in the big blind. The shove amounted to 31,600 and left Holloway to mull his decision over; this isn't the first time Holloway has faced a tough decision in this tournament, as he navigated all the way to victory in 2013 and has played it every year it has ran since.

After some time, Holloway reluctantly folded, Ho tabled 10♣10♥ and McAvoy tabled 7♦7♥. In response, Holloway proclaimed, "I had the Jacks..." to which Ho uttered, "Thank you!" to McAvoy.

The turn was the 8♠ and the river an 8♥, securing the triple-up for Arthur Ho.

Draper with a decision goes into the tank before finally settling on a call. Smith shows Q♣9♣, Draper A♥Q♠ and the big blind with K♣Q♦.

The board ran out J♥4♠5♠8♥9♦ rivering Smith the best hand, eliminating the big blind and leaving Draper with a little over ten big blinds.
