Level 9 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

The player under the gun raised to 6,000. Randall Blair on the button three-bet to 30,000 forcing his opponent into the tank. The under the gun player elected to jam putting Blair's tournament life at risk.

Blair called only to be met with the bad news that his JJ was a huge underdog to his opponents QQ. Things soon changed as the flop came 7J6.

The turn and river provided no help for the under the gun player as Blair was propelled to a stack of approximately 160,000.

With a sizable pot already built before the A36 flop, Zachary Taylor bet 10,000 from the big blind and got raised to 25,000 by Josh Welcher on the button.

Taylor called and the players checked the J turn. On the 10 river, after Taylor checked, Welcher bet 30,000. After some time in the tank, Taylor called to show A3 for a flopped two pair.

Taylor frustratedly showed AK and tossed his hand into the muck.

Ty Stewart

From the small blind with a raise and a call in front of him, WSOP Executive Director Ty Stewart shoved to see both of the other active players in the hand call, one of whom was also all in. All cards were turned on their backs before heading to a runout.

Ty Stewart: JJ
Early Position: AxQx
Late Position: KxQx

The board ran out Q7J7A giving Stewart a flopped set and a full triple up. After the hand, Stewart said he went with the jacks because, "Jack Effel was standing there watching so it seemed like a good time to go with the jacks."

In a recent hand, she raised to 3,000 in the hijack and got a call from the big blind.

Kopp and her opponent checked to the river on a board of K910J2 before the big blind bet 2,500, which Kopp called, then showed JJ for a turned set of jacks and the winner.

Shumard Forces Opponent Out of the Pot

Level 10 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

On a flop of 8QQ in a heads up pot, the early position player put out a bet of 3,000. After a short period of consideration, Caleb Shumard decided that 3,500 isn't enough and pushed 8,000 into the middle from the cutoff which was met quickly with call from his opposition.

The 6 prompted a check from the early position player and Shumard quickly and decisively slid enough chips into the pot to put his opponent all in. While he didn't look as though he wanted to forfeit the pot, he eventually relented and tossed his hand into the muck.
