On the first draw, Dan Shak and Andrew Robl discarded two while Joey Couden took one new card. Shak checked, Couden bet and his two opponents called. That led to the second draw on which Robl was the only one to take two new cards, while Shak and Couden took one. Shak check-called Couden's bet while Robl folded.
Shak then patted and Couden took one as they checked it down.
Shak tabled the 5♦4♣ / 8♥3♦2♣ and chopped with his eight as Couden's 7♣6♦5♥A♠ for a Badugi also came with the A♥.
Pot-Limit 2-7 Triple Draw
There was some confusion over on table 129 when Nozomu Shimizu had bet 49,500 and then faced the shove of Sampo Ryynanen for very little more, some 5,000 and change. Several players chimed in to explain Shimizu how many more chips it was and the fold of the Japanese player followed.
Ryynanen had patted after the final draw while Shimizu had previously drawn two with one more draw to go.
In table chat with Andrew Brown, he clarified that it was a bluff on his part and then asked his opponent if he had a pair.
"I had a good hand," Ryynanen replied and raked in a large pot without showdown.

With 3,000 in chips out in front for Nick Pupillo and Ajay Gnanasambanthan, the J♦J♠8♥ flop was checked. Once the K♦ fell on the turn, Pupillo announced a pot-sized bet and tossed in 8,000 chips. Gnanasambanthan quickly folded and the pot was shipped to Pupillo.
The same table also features Russian mixed game specialist Anatolii Zyrin, who has nearly tripled up his stack early on.
Pot-Limit Omaha
Three ways to the 9♦5♠5♥8♠8♦ river on a double-paired board, Cary Katz bet 12,500. He forced one fold but Nathaniel Katzoff called. Katz tabled the Q♣9♣9♥6♦ for a flopped full house and scooped the pot.
The same table now also features John Hennigan as well.
No-Limit 5 Card Draw
As told to PokerNews, preflop action saw Chris Vitch raise in the cutoff and then call a three-bet from Patrick Leonard on the button.
With about 25,000 now in the middle, Vitch drew one while Leonard stood pat.
After the draw Vitch checked and Leonard moved in covering Vitch's roughly 50,000 chip stack.
Vitch thought for a couple of minutes before electing to fold.
