When the action came to Masashi Oya he raised, and David Funkhouser, short stacked and showing only a six, reraised. Oya bet again on four, but checked fifth, opening the door for Funkhouser to bet out. Oya checked again once all the cards were in play, and Funkouser got the fold with one final bet, building his stack up from the brink.

Paul Mangine completed on third street and got a call from defending champion Adam Friedman. Picking up an ace on fourth street, Friedman took over the betting lead and got a call from Mangine.
On fifth street, Friedman check-called a bet from Mangine and then the players checked sixth street.
Friedman bet on seventh street and Mangine tossed his buried aces into the muck face up to send the pot to Friedman.
Rob Hollink was down to 300 chips at one point, but has climbed back to 14,000 as the field continues to grow with 85 entries now in the field.

Joao Vieira completed, Eli Elezra raised, Adam Friedman three bet, and then Vieira sprung up with bet number four. Elezra folded, and Friedman called.
Vieira continued on streets four and five. On sixth Friedman, getting short-stacked, raised Vieira's opener, and Vieira put Friedman all in. Vieira's kings led before the seventh card was placed on its back, but the Friedman made two pair, sevens and fours to escape elimination.

Picking action up on fourth street, Andre Akkari bet and got raised by Amir Mirrasouli. Akkari called, and the players proceeded to check fifth and sixth streets before Mirraouli bet seventh street. Akkari thought briefly and then opted to fold his hand.
