Chemineau Calls the Bluff

Level 3 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

Pokernews caught the action from the players after a battle of the blinds sent the big blind to the rails.

The pot on the river was 9,000 and the big blind decided to go all in. The small blind , Vincent Chemineau, quickly called.

Big blind: 5x3x
Vincent Chemineau: Ax4x

The board was Ax4xJx7x9x and the big blind's bluff with a missed straight was unsuccessful against Chemineau's two pair.

Adam Says "There It Is!"

Level 3 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

When the 4 turned on a 2K3 board, big blind Alfie Adam claimed jubilantly, "There it is!" and put out a bet of 3,000. Button Nick Staker called, incredulous. When a second four, the 4, hit the river, Adam again called out "There it is!" and led out for 5,000.

"Ok, you can keep your lowly threes full," said Staker, and mucked.

"It's better than that!" said Adam, and flashed a four. There, in fact, it was.

Some of the Best Poker Players Who Haven't Won a WSOP Bracelet

Level 4 : 200/400, 400 ante
WSOP Bracelet Winners
WSOP Bracelet Winners

While winning a World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet is one of the greatest accomplishments a poker player can achieve, many of the greatest and most successful players in the game have yet to put one on their wrists.

PokerNews has had a decent track record with highlighting players without bracelets who have gone on to win them. Jason Koon won a maiden bracelet in 2021 after making the "Best Without a Bracelet" list that year, while Dan Smith and Alex Foxen both found bracelets in 2022 to be removed from that year's list.

With the 2023 WSOP happening now, here's a look at some of the best players who have yet to add a World Series bracelet to their long lists of accolades.

Oh's Kings Find Miracle River

Level 4 : 200/400, 400 ante

Anderson Huang raised all in on a Q9Q7 board and Bo Oh called.

Oh: KK
Huang: AA

A 2 on the river gave Oh the flush to crack Huang's aces and double Oh up.

On the next hand everyone folded around to Oh and he flipped over another pair of kings. "Kings again!" said Oh.

Chen on the Right Side of Cooler

Level 4 : 200/400, 400 ante

On a board of 10QJ Steven Chen lead for 1,600 from the small blind into two opponents. The player in the big blind called and the player on the button raised to 7,000. Action back on Chen, he jammed all in, the big blind folded and the button snap-called.

Steven Chen: 1010
Button: 98

A flopped set against the flopped straight understandably created a monster pot. The J on the turn put Chen out ahead upgrading his hand to a full house sending the pot his way after the irrelevant 4 on the river.
